Who needs a comedy club, I can come here.
Why?? Because someone dares to disagree with your OPINION? It's like high school in here.

Perhaps YOU are not a sharp tool my friend. Did you even watch the race? Or are you just "Monday morning quarterbacking"?? Because if you HAD watched the race, you should have heard Moody & Ryder mention that Rossi had increased his pace when Vinales was threatening, and then again when the Dukes passed him.
Wanna try again??
*whoosh*
That's the sound of things flying over your head.
If it's like high school, please do leave. You won't be missed at all.
The Ducatis had passed Rossi and when the accident happened, Rossi was a good 6-7 bike lengths behind the 2. His presence had zero bearing on what happened. Iannone had a brain fart and was desperate to beat his teammate
You can make your ........ insults all you want, but nothing is going over my head.
You're simply upset that your boy Lorenzo will never be regarded as the GOAT. And it burns your ....... every morning. It must be tough to accept that.
And why don't you leave? I don't see anyone showing you much love in here.
Iannone doesn't have mirrors on his bike. Rossi had just executed an aggressive challenge of his own just a few turns before turn 13. It is utterly conceivable and even likely Rossi would have attempted a Jerez 05 on Iannone. I believe he wasn't trying to pass Dovi but rather protecting his position. But even if you are correct and Iannone is flat lying that he wasn't trying to pass Dovi, I still don't believe it was unreasonable. Off the top of your head, don't go looking it up, how many passes do you think were executed at turn 13 that race? Take a guess. Then ask, how many of those passes at this very spot involved directly or indirectly Iannone and Dovi? You'll be surprised. The Ducatis had passed Rossi and when the accident happened, Rossi was a good 6-7 bike lengths behind the 2. His presence had zero bearing on what happened. I don't care if Lorenzo is ever considered a GOAT or not. But you do care quite a bit about whether Rossi is considered such.
Hey Tom...you should stick to the Bimmer forums, you fit in better there.

I should quit feedin the monkey...
Na, wrong again. I watch the races with commentary OFF. I don't need a commentator to help me know what I'm watching. Especially when it tends to be biased. Much more enjoyable listenin to engines than nonsense. Sorry monito, Rossi may have increased his pace when he was passed, but that is quite normal on a race track. When someone passes you, there is an extra boost of adrenalin, especially in the final laps, + you have someone infront showing you a faster line.
It's alright. Maybe you'll figure it out one day.
Don't try again. I'm done
No worries, I wasn't responding to your post. Actually, I hadn't read it, I'll go back to check it out. I was just responding to Povol about Iannone. I originally felt it was a boneheaded move. But since then I don't see it as unreasonable. And even less when I heard his explanation. That's all.Look Jumkie, I'm just offering a theory, ok? Neither of us were in the heads of the riders.
Clearly you didn't watch the race very closely, or listen to the announcers. Rossi's pace was increasing and the distance was no where near 6-7 bike lengths. All you have to do is replay the crash segment and see that Rossi was there in the blink of an eye.
Yeah, about a 6-7 bike length blink of an eye. Second the notion of watching without commentators - I prefer the races sans buffoons...
By turn 13 where the collision occurred, Rossi had already dialed it down. Unbeknownst to Iannone.Looks about 2-3 bike lengths.
Looks about 2-3 bike lengths.
yea about a second after the crash, how far do they go in a second. First picture tells the story where Rossi is not in the picture. BoppersLooks about 2-3 bike lengths.

I'm actually a bit confused about your point tps7c. Please elaborate what you're trying to explain. I think there are two different points being made here.
Ah, this seems to be the post I missed.I LOVE how you Rossi haters say he inherited an undeserved 2nd place. However, if it happened to Lorenzo or Marquez, you would say it was well deserved.
Rossi's second place WAS deserved as he was able to stay on his bike, unlike Vinales. Right? I would argue that Rossi upped his pace when he saw the Ducati's closing on him, thus putting more pressure on them, causing one of their guys to try a desperate pass.
Wouldn't have easing his bike up to Dovi's right knee served the purpose? Do ya think AI thought Rossi was going around the outside while he was jamming it up the inside? Its not as though Dovi backed off and upset his judgement. AI is certainly experienced enough to hear when a bike is 1-2 lengths back as opposed to 6-7.I became convinced he was really trying to guard against a Rossi attack.
