Rossi says relationship with Marquez “can never be recovered”

Gaz, I don't see a problem with building your own museum. I plan on building one to myself too. I'm collecting cans and bottles for future display. The wall will be called 'beers and liquor I had wilst watching GPs'.

But, aint beers liquor?

And where will you be placing the NH memorabilia, or do you plan on building a wing for NH?

:p

Serious side - I am sure that some athletes have built a museum to themselves in the past but stuffed if I can think of one .............. building by the way to me is totally separate to donating or providing items and supporting the museum.

Are there precedents ............. genuinely wondering.

Ha ha, that's funny....vr has become a joke. What a goofball.

I don't think Marc has to worry, as long as he keeps his head and avoids getting sucked in, he'll run away from Rossi. Lorenzo has learned to deal with it and it's made him stronger.

Just like Spies in better days didn't let mladin get to him. I'm sure Honda will sort mm's bike out. They for sure don't want to get beaten by vr.

It's going to be tough for vr to admit he's over the hill...

Marquez looked at Rossi, but Rossi totally ignored him. And they call Marquez the immature spoilt one.

To have no reaction when the winner slips and falls over on the podium is some feat! I used to be a fan of Rossi and admired his all out attitude but I hate what he's doing to this sport now. Lorenzo was booed on the podium last week and Marquez this week. This tells me Rossi fans are not fans of the sport at all.
Rossi's attitude has been disgusting and I hate what it's doing to the sport.

This has been known here for some time.

It was Rossi who casually spilt water on the top step. Cunning ........

He's not exactly over the hill. He lost the title by 5 points last year, and despite everything I really doubt any of the young chargers would do better on that Yamaha, particularly after watching the last race; Iannone or Vinales might be fast on the bike, but I have strong doubts about consistency.

What he isn't is what he was when he was 25, while MM and JL are possibly close to that level, and engaged in the legitimate pursuit of their own legacies, and have absolutely no obligation that I can see to step aside for a ceremonial 10th title for Valentino, which he and his fans seem to pretty much believe should be the case.

I love how some of you silly ..... are saying Rossi is over the hill. As someone else mentioned, Rossi came in second last year AND the year before. And he's racing guys who are in some cases half his age.

How can any intelligent person say Rossi is over the hill when he's finishing 2nd in the best motorcycle racing series in the world??? That makes you just as bad as a rossibopper.

Bopperism and it's attendant lack of critical thinking is over the hill.

Ok you meatheads, Rossi just qualified in 3rd. He's so over the hill I guess. He should probably retire and give up that $20 mill salary...

1:4 odds are starting to show up.

Last year, being on a factory bike till Aragon guaranteed a 1:3 chance of winning a grand prix.

Hardly a remarkable feat when 85-90% of the grid has no real chance.

Rossi is over the hill.

In a speedway race he'd be the penultimate rider. Line him up on a Suzuki or Ducati, he'd be last.

Btw, Rossi's demeanor around Marquez is hilarious. KryptoRossinite.

Rossi's salary is nowhere near 20 million, less than half that.

At Yamaha, yes. Probably closer to 10. But he makes 5x that from sponsorship, hats and tshirts. If Rossi got royalties from the color yellow, he'd be a billionaire. Rossi doesn't need a dime from Yamaha. He had no other options, so re-signing the marketing contract was a no brainer.

OMG you people are unreal. You criticize people who like Rossi, but your reasoning is ridiculous. 1:4 odds??? Come on. Both Hondas can win, both Yamahas, both Ducatis, and one Suzuki.

Even so, at age 38, he's riding brilliantly.

They way you admonish Rossi makes your praise for the other riders way less credible.

Because he's over the hill.
