yes gui22, you are one of these descents of white people who spoiled south america. You have done a very good work of decimating the indians and keeping them poor.

Nothing to be proud about, puto.

One of these brazilian that think his ..... smell better than others'.

This is not a politics site. This kind of crap ..... up Powerslide for everybody. We're here to talk about racing. There are plenty of other sites with people spreading hate and intolerance. We don't need it here too.

Where are the moderators?!

(I feel like that might be a silly question as I think I already know the answer...)

Hey! My firm response to his comments has to do with him not having his facts right. The ... about patent in Brazil was a tongue in cheek comment. If you have a personal issue with him, take this crap elsewhere.

Vinales was amateurish as to his reasons for a poor performance on Sunday. To say its because he couldn't take the qualifying line during the race is something I'd expect to hear from a club racer. It also points to a fundamental problem with approach if his crew gave him everything he asked for expecting him to just ride off into the distance. Had Forcada been around he probably would have told Maverick that his strategy for the race was hugely flawed but it seems they have replaced him with a yes man.

Reminds me of Assen a year or so ago, when VR focussed on getting his set up right for the last corner as it is the best overtaking opportunity, even though it compromised his set up at other places on track. It may not have been the fastest way around the track but it gave him a fighting chance knowing the battle was always going to be likely. Say what you like about VR and his crew, but that episode shows that their vast experience isn't being wasted.

After all the petulance he has shown in the last 12 months I can't say I'm rooting for Maverick, I expect Rins and a few others may show him a clean pair of heels this year.

If you believe the conspiracy theories of some past posters on here, I am a moderator haha. Quite the purpose of becoming a mod then hiding it from the users of the site is beyond me, but that's conspiracy theorists for you. They don't let logic get in their way.

Good post. I want Maverick to be competitive but he just doesnt seem to get it together. As you say did he expect to ride off into the distance? I just hope this hasn't put him back at square one mentally again.

I would have bet my house on him beating Rossi on Sunday, but alas Rossi hugely impressed me.

With riders competing with historically close lap times now, mental fortitude becomes that much more important to being competitive. I just don’t think Vinales has it.

But can you samba?:p

No I can't haha, my feet is hard as a rock for these things.

I suspect you're a kind of extreme leftist, it looks like that.. I have nothing to do with what my ancestors done, I'm not responsible for that, I was not there to avoid any damage they make. That's a problem of 500+ years ago, right? Otherwise, could I charge you for many of the murderers the vikings committed in the Nordic region? I don't think so.

Also, we do now live in peace with indians descendants, because there are no more indians here, we mixed with each other and we are now all Brazilians, my friend.

BTW, I'm married with an indian descendant.

I know there are Brazilians living around the world that do not represent the best of here, unfortunately there is bad people from any nationality. I don't have a daughter, and I don't have any will to migrate to another country, I prefer to stay in my homeland, work hard and make my country a better place for all who lives here.

Now let's go back to the topic.

As an aside, one of my nurses is Brazilian and she is fantastic. Intelligent, funny and always a smile for everyone.

I applaud you. That was a class response, and I say that as a native English speaker.

So true. It has also been noted in the press (Kropo) that Maverick has a poor attitude to work life balance, which suggests he isn't a big picture guy (read immature).

All the best sports people I can think of have always had a life away from racing.

I crashed a cornflake powered bike in January. Did a rib or two. I honestly had never felt like I'd broken myself quite so badly.

Fortunately it only takes 6 weeks for a rib to heal but that first fortnight is horrendous.

Been their done that. Excruciating pain for first few days. Can't cough, sneeze, laugh without keeling over. Worst for me was couldn't play and wrestle with kids for weeks. They didn't know that and would often jump on me whilst laying on couch.
