Bestia will try to help Pecco this year, that's part of his factory deal; then next year it wil be free for all.
Welcome back Jarno :)

I agree, I think Ducati factory may be carnage next yr as at the moment I'd bet on the beast having the edge.

According to Speed week.com Miguel Oliveira: Absage an GASGAS – 2023 bei Aprilia

The MotoGP factory teams 2023

Red Bull KTM (Brad Binder, Jack Miller)
Ducati Lenovo (Pecco Bagnaia, Jorge Martin)
Monster Yamaha (Fabio Quartararo, Franco Morbidelli)
Aprilia Racing (Aleix Espargaró, Maverick Viñales)
Repsol Honda (Marc Márquez, Joan Mir)

The customer teams 2023

Tech3-GASGAS (Pol Espargaró, Augusto Fernández)
Prima Pramac Ducati (Johann Zarco, Jorge Martin)
WithU-Aprilia (Miguel Oliveira, Raúl Fernández)
Mooney VR46 Ducati (Luca Marini, Marco Bezzecchi)
Gresini Racing Ducati (Alex Márquez, Fabio Di Giannantonio )
LCR Honda (Alex Rins, Takaaki Nakagami)

Seems that Oliveira/Fernandez at RNF is now officially confirmed, along with the SHOCKING news of Mir to Repsol Honda.

RNF all new lineup

Mir to Repsol

I like Mir, but I'm honestly not sure he is the right rider for that bike.

Winning a moto 2 title for KTM does seem like a poisoned chalice if all it garners you is a satellite KTM ride for a year, with no prospect of success this season at least, then motogp oblivion. As I said Raul Fernandez was correct to not want that ride, not that he is isn’t very likely a better prospect than Gardner, anyway. but perhaps all the young riders KTM/ Red Bull accumulates should consider that the ultimate pay-off is a premier class KTM ride.

Meant to reply tot he post before yours. Sure Bastianini may be the better, but Ducati do seem inclined to set their riders against each other.which doesn’t help the chances of a Ducati rider winning tiger icing title imo.

Might be fun to watch I agree.

I have to agree, I personally think it stinks that Gardner doesnt have a GP ride for next yr. I get rather fed up of riders like Pol Espargaro getting contract after contract when a Moto2 champion from last yr is without a ride.

I get why KTM signed Miller, they are likely hoping for some Ducati secrets. Also passport reasons, but then Gardner is an Aussie. Pol shouldn't be getting another GP ride imo. It's not like Spaniards are thin on the grid, and he's frankly done nothing for his entire GP career except a few podiums. THe fact that old dogs like this get to keep seats when Darryn Binder and Garnder are out frustrates me. Binder may not be world champ material but he's earned his place in GP this yr.

Can't disagree with you sadly.
