As i understand it everyone will be on a prototype of the tire to be used,yes.I heard it will be tried out now and modified till Jerez test at the end of november.

I think Dovisioso is actually this fast on the old one,but it would be interresting if some journalist found something saying different when they get to test the bikes.

Congratulations to Stoner by the way!
Pedrosa did what was expected more or less but Rossi's catching up was quite impressive.Without his warm up crash Hayden could have been on the podium i think.

I say it as a joke but please excuse Migs because although he has lightened up this year in his former pinkyesque hatred of Nicky he still will jump on on any opportunity to kick dirt on him.

Ah, so the left side exhaust pipe is a custom made '08 exhaust to fake an '07 model?
Sorry for my foolishness, I didn't know this was usuall in MotoGP.

Strange that they've limited the power and revs though. An absolute perfect example of this was how Rossi passed Dovi on the straight today. Even the medicore Yamaha engine had more power and higher revs than Dovi. But sure Dovi have the factory Honda.

Sorry J4rno, this was the most boring race of the season. Even the eurosport commentators were having a tough time finding something to talk about. So you know what they talked about? They talked about never remebering seeing a race that was so spread out.

Really, I've been told repeatdly that Hayden fans are allways objective in their judgement. Only Rossi fans like me are subjective and make up excuses.

To be honest I thought Dani might be able to give us a show. But it wasn't to be.
Vale passed a lot of riders early on but after that the race plain sucked.
I'm not holding my breath that a control tyre will close up the racing either.
Suzuki & Kawasaki need to pull their finger out next year. Both of them were very disappointing.

Yeah, and remember he migs came from crash.net forum. So dont expect much from him in the reasonable department.

Roger-m........I thought Rossi had to win the race to break that record? 367 points in a year isnt it?
Anyone realise that with Pole at this race Casey Stoner equaled Rossi record from Honda in 2003 for most Poles in a year....... Roll on 2009

The second half of the race was kinda uneventful. Also, no surprises anywhere really. Well, atleast 250s were exciting.

Looking forward to the next season anyway. I actually believe that the fighting will get a bit tighter.

Fact is a bitch sack, isn't it?
Dovi has more points in the championship and he has beaten Hayden in the two last races and he has done so on a lease bike, basically the '07 RCV212. A bike that when ever in close fight with others looks like parked when there is anything that look like a straight line of tarmac.
Now there are plenty of reasons for why this happened but the result is undeniable, so is the fact that Dovi still ride a plain lease bike built in '07.
I might not have used the words out ride as Hayden has had a few setbacks, but the two last races sure must have hurt his pride. You should beat your team mate and even more important, on a factory team you MUST beat the lease bikes.

First of all congrats to Stoner.Roger i was exactly thinking that when ever he is winning he will say he didn't have much problems with his wrist but on other hand when he is losing he always blame his wrist that he could not ride the bike the way he wanted to.I think he is just using this injury as excuse whenever he is losing i could be wrong but thats my personel opinion.
