Troy had one outstanding moment, I think he would rather forget the rest. If he were as dominant in Motogp as he has been in WSBK, he would still be in the GP paddock.

Of course it is.
He could like crawl up someones exhaust into their engines and mess around with it lol.

Hayden is just big built.

^^That's whats so puzzling about the new bike being too small for Hayden because he is such a big guy. I have met most of the AMA guys in person and Hayden is not a big man by any definition. I actually had to look down when I shook his hand.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (-Polini10- @ Mar 21 2007, 10:10 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Lol i bet alot of Hayden fans were to.

Like Rossi fans when Hayden got taken out

i was also screaming then, but it wasnt happy screaming. i was shouting you .....! you bloody ..... over and over at dani lol. and my uncle phoned the minute it happened at goes "do you still fancy dani after what he just did?"

that made me laugh

Hayden has signed two year deal so is an HRC rider for 07/08 for sure. After this if his results are still strong he will prbably have fairly free choice of where he goes. Ducati and Yamaha were interested this year and satallite honda teams will be interested also.

As for JT, i agree that the best he can hope for is a Gresini nbike, but i think he will get it if he takes the superbike crwon. Also, he is obviously not better than the motogp world champion, he didn't even beat troy Bayliss last year.

Any of you who think Mladin and Spies are anywhere near Haydens level are living on a strange planet indeed, the AMA superbike championship is not even that near the level of the world superbikes, let alone gp's.

And all you repaeting the talk of Haydens 2006 "luck". Nicky had good runs and bad runs in his season but it wasn't quite as obvious as it could have been because he rode so consistently and with such determination.

1. I second this motion.

I've made 50 posts in one proper day before, but it's quality not quantity.
<

Hi Alex. I see you got yourself in and out of a mess on this thread. Nice. But after reading through all this, I must agree, its about quality. I pulled my hair out reading through this rambling hoping there would be a point only to find out nothing and less hair on my head. While you on the case of banning things, can we get "rambling" "banned"?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (hrcjunior @ Mar 21 2007, 01:44 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>well personally i think he is a bit big headed but a good rider!!!
Obviously you don't know the guy. Hayden could be described as many things, but "big headed" is not one of them. He is perhaps the most humble guy you could ever meet. No, "big headed" can be reserved for other riders....a certain one in particular.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Tom @ Mar 21 2007, 04:39 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Any of you who think Mladin and Spies are anywhere near Haydens level are living on a strange planet indeed, the AMA superbike championship is not even that near the level of the world superbikes, let alone gp's.
Disagree. The top AMA guys are narrowly approaching par with WSBK and MotoGP. Which rider in MotoGP or WSBK could take up a superbike and contend in the AMA? I doubt even a few. Superbike racing is much different than MotoGP for sure, but the talent and skill it takes to compete in the AMA is very competitive. If Neil Hodgson is any indication of what a WSBK champ can do in the AMA, that doesn’t say much, and I like the guy. I think you may want to expand your idea of the skill sets it takes to succed in the AMA in regards to other racing series.

I think you over estimate your national championship a little bit in the greater scheme of things. It is by no means bad (top 3 superbike series in the world), but it is not the world championship and it is ridden at a lower level. You say not many guys could come to the AMA and be competative, but out of the (not particularly deep) AMA grid, only Ben Spies would stand a serious chance in world superbikes and even he would take time to gain experience.
