New Crew Chief For Hayden

BACK ON TOPIC:

Is Juan Martinez 2nd language English? (just wondering becasue....) Nicky speaks Kentuckian and that is a far cry from English
<
(but now, really).
YEah he speaks both Italian and English very well so that should help. Now Juan just needs to get the southern accent down to a science and everything will be fine.

I think the most obvious clue to the success of the new management structure is if Hayden makes forward progress from practice to qualifying. He has just floundered from practice to practice this year so far. If I was Suppo that is what I would look for in the short term...and what short term he is expecting quick results I'm sure. Longer sessions will sure help.

I think Suzuki should release a Race Replica 990 complete with Rizla colors. Kinda like the Desmo. Better chance of that than NH making progress.

They had to pay Hopper and Kenny Roberts Jr. to subject themselves to that 990cc nightmare and you're suggesting paying Suzuki for that opportunity. Best of luck to you, sir.

Absolutely the funniest thing I have read posted since I've been here. Arrib, you're spicy and hot (from your name to your defence of Rainey) and icily paradoxical... pure genius, mon ami. How long did it take you to produce the artfully crafted grammar and spelling?

On topic... if Ducati had continued to do nothing they would have been vilified... they HAD to take action whether Nick has grown danglers or not. I hope it comes around for Nick and crew but I fear it will not... I see Nicky ending his career with WSBK glory sooner rather than later.

I think suzuki better get their heads out of their ..... cause they can't put a replica of a bike out that doesn't win ....!

If Suzuki released a V4 990 to the street they couldn't make enough of them and I would buy one immediately
<
. I have been wondering when they would switch the I4 to a V4 or if they even would. Now that Yamaha have thrown down the gauntlet with the crossplane they must respond. And Hayden will make progress...just a matter of time.

A bit OT.

Talking about crew chief, anyone know who Casey Stoner's is? I think he (crew chief) and the team deserve some props for setting up the bike so Casey can challenge for the top positions. Credit has always been a debate divided between Casey and/or the bike itself but not once have I read about the team behind it.

We've all heard the praises sang to Jeremy Burgess, a mention of the Tech 3 crew chief (albeit for a different reason), Hayden's new crew chief, Puig (is he?), and even Pete Benson but never heard of the guy in charge of Stoner's bike.

Cristian Gabarini. I think casey brought him to ducati from lcr when he moved to ducati, which I would have thought at least shows that casey can inspire personal loyalty. I guess it could also be argued in terms of nicky's and marco's travails that bayliss's one off win and casey's victories have been with crew chiefs brought in from outside the normal ducati motogp team structure.
