Two aussies on the front row ....
<
im happy.

<
how longs it been since we've had a DNQ??
A long time. But they still let him race as because Jorge Lorenzo was allowed to race all non-qualifiers in every series was allowed.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (vale4607 @ Jun 3 2007, 02:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Nope, still think Barros is crap. He put in a very good ride today. Rossi was definitely on form and rode as only Rossi can a Mugello. Good ride from Pedrosa, mistake free.

Stoner, solid points finish, nothing spectacular, Loris needs a new brain not a new bike.

Anyone want to change their stance on Edwards deserving his Yamaha seat?
Wtf? Barros isnt crap, you silly plonker. He beat the provisional champion on a lesser tuned bike
<

let's talk about the race, and not about who deserves the seat or not, ok?? they obviously all have talent

Good race, still think that pedro could've won it if he wasn't that 'carefull' in the first corner! good to see capi at the front again for some laps, but dropping back that far in only 1, maybe 2 rounds, isn't good at all. stoner did a good job for the championship with finishing 4th. randy crashed again, as usual. he seems to get to excited in the beginning of a race, if he crashes, it's always at the beginning!! loved all the overtaking, especially how pedro overtook rossi with his foot up in the air
<

that crowd was DANGEROUS. and they say 'enjoy, don't destroy' in assen because of the crowd coming on the track 5 years a go
<
let's put that phrase in italy

No, hes a real consistent front runner. Im sure someone will be dumb enough to give him a factory ride next year, it worked out so well for Yamaha and Honda previously. When he beats the provisional champion week in week out then he will cease to be crap. He's zero threat, thats why Valentino hugs him.

Come on Rossi! He's done it again for the 6th time in a row. How does he do it, he gets pushed back to 8th then manages to win the race
<
Now that's what i call a skilled rider.

Wow boy, what a race!

Was Stoner outrode(
<
by the top three today or what? KIDDING GUYS!!!!

I never in my wildest dreams thought Rossi would win that...winning on a much slower bike.

Pedrosa...by far and away the best Honda guy out there, troubles Rossi for a while but was never really on his level.

Barros...
<
...I'd written this guy off as a seat hogging old fart, what does he do? Become the best Ducati rider out there.

Stoner? Better result than last year, minimized his points damage, but I was expecting the win.

<
<
<
"i am not happy, i expected a win today" typical Dani...

the race was a bit boring after the first few laps, just a procession really (except for barros, what a ride!) that crowd was AMAZING though, you couldnt hear the anthem over their chanting!

1. Is he ever?
<

2. Not really a procession, I was hooked all the way through.

Cool race. Totally unexpected and thank goodness it makes the rest of the season interesting doesn't it?

Rossi looked like the pressure was off. Though I did find his prolonged hug with Uccio rather disturbing to say the least
<
<

Anyway really pleased for Rossi, really pleased for Pedrosa, really pleased for Barros well done that Brazillian old timer!!!

Bring on the next round!!!

Realy cool stuff.

Great ride by Valentino!!! A well deserved win for the Italian!!
Now he has won 6 consecutive wins at Mugello!!! That's a great accomplishment for sure. He rode a strong race, but his start was really poor. Great to see him fight his way back to the front.
<

Dani did a great job as well. Finishing 2nd after starting from 8th position ain't bad at all. Great to see him in front again. Rossi was just too good today, but definitely a great weekend for the Spaniard (again doing a better job than Nicky, who finished 10th).

Also my compliments to Barros. He was the man of the race imo, finishing on the podium, after starting from 10th position!!!! Well done Alex!!!!
<

Stoner did ok. I thought he would finish on the podium, but today those other three guys were better, simple as that. He's still on top, but the gap reduced from 21 points to 9 points!!!! It's getting exciting again!!!!!

BRING ON BARÇELONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<

A typical Rossi-esqu win really, hats off to the doctor  .. Special mention to the old dog Alex Barros too, beating both factory Ducati's is no mean feat, brilliant ride..
<
.. Casey was pretty well composed and im glad he didnt throw it down the rode, says alot.. Also solid ride from both zook boys, CV consolidating his 5th championship place by beating Melandri home for eighth..

Congrats to Rossi, Pedrosa (who as improved greatly on his braking) and Barros for a great race today.

Unlucky Stoner did his best but it just wasn't meant to be.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Electric Mofo @ Jun 3 2007, 02:53 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Why couldn't you just stick to the Mugello thread instead of wasting space?
Sorry i didn't realise
<

Congratulations to Rossi, nice victory!
<

The team finally gave him the perfect setup and the finest tire choice.

Pedrosa is doing fine, he deserves to win this match.

Barros, wow!! Incredible race!!! Overtook Stoner and beat him, but not in a worst setup.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Stoner deception!
<
<
<

He does all wrong this match, since FP1 he is not doing fine, seting up the bike wrong and choosing the most wrong tire choices possible!! hard to front and medium to rear!! How much laps he was thinking run?

Maybe the mad weather disturb the team choices, but doesnt matter, they miss and this error will cost a lot.

It is a shame, Ducati in home, Stoner in good shape and in one of favorites track, long straight, does the pole, all was right to victory but all he got is a "shame" 4th.

It is good Ducati run back this damage and turn to win in Catalunya, cause Rossi is coming fast.

Capirossi needs to leave Motogp embraced with Hayden and Checa.

The race name: Rossi, Yamaha and Barros
<

The race total deception: Stoner, Capirossi and Ducati Marlboro Team.
