rea... young, fast & promising. kiyo not the jap for the job.

Kiyo is the best jap rider there is, he is seriously fast and Honda have a lot of faith in him. Rea is young and quick but Kiyo has him beat, move them both to international level and i think Kiyo would move further ahead based on his experience and that fact that he already exists in a foreign culture. Kiyo is ready to move on.

Well, I guess that answers a few questions. Yes Dorna wants certain nationalities in the Series and I guess "The Hoff" may be on the way out.

Man... A lot of seats are going to be open from the looks of it. I don't hear a lot about anyone else other than Lorenzo coming over this year from 250.

Haga isn't, he is solid but hes not got the edge that makes the difference. He will always be the nearly man, and more significantly he has missed his GP window of opertunity and wont ever make it.

Sorry to repeat myself but:

Well a lot of non-Americans would think the same about Spies, he's done nothing to prove himself apart from win on a dominant bike against a team-mate who's frankly, past it.

Then don't go blurting out the same about another rider just because they don't happen to be American.

Considering how much raw speed he has shown, how quickly he got to grips with the famously challenging British circuits and competative championship i would have more faith in him. I would rate him above Spies if i was looking for a Gp rider to take from a national series.

That's just how good he is, we can see past his nationality and just appreciate the talent that we are seeing.

Sheesh. You guys should just step in the octagon and go at it Pride Style.

NE way. I don't support any rider because of their nationality. I don't root against a rider because of their nationality. If Spies gets a shot. I will root for him... if I don't like the persona he exudes I will not.

I respect and have rooted well for Rossi but I have seen the arrogance behind the smile/playfulness. Now: I respect him. Biaggi - I respect is riding.

I like Stoner's persona and style. I like Vermulen, Hoppers and Hayden. I don't like Pedrosabot- I respect his riding.

Kiyonari, if he is as good as you guys claim.. Hell give him a shot. Checa's seat I say.

I would need to see Rea winning the British championship and beating Kyionari or Lavilla before i'd say he deserves a ride. Maybe he should go prove himself on a world level first.

Frankly I don't think Spies or Kiyonari have what it takes to compete at a World Championship level, WSB or GP.

Kiyonari has had the benefit of the only full works HRC CBR1000RR in the world (other than Rea) for the last two years now. Yeah, he's been fast but there are a fair amount of riders I think could achieve similar results. And certainly in less time.

As far as Spies, he's on the best bike, on the best team with the best equipment in his series. If Yosh Suzuki would sign a proven SBK winner in his prime for their third bike as opposed to Yates (past it and TBH never had IT) and Tommy Hayden (never been able to adapt to big bikes), the Yosh team would 1-2-3 every race. Period. Give the third bike to Hodgson, Zemke, Hacking or a Bostrom and it's a three way championship race in one team. That's what Spies has under him.

I'd definitely like to see the both of them, along with Rea and Haslam, get a chance though.

If Mladin is past it then why did he win both races on the weekend? Does this say something about your national championship?

Rea's manager Roger Burnett has categorically stated that Johnny will not be in GP's next year (he could at best get into 250s, but he wont want to do that after seeing Laverty suffer this year.)

He will most likely be aiming to score a top flight WSBK ride.. Ten Kate sounds good, that or Bayliss' teammate at Xerox Ducati.. After that, assuming hes good enough, he can follow JT into the big leagues.. hopefully at a younger age than JT though..

I also wanna see Camier in WSBK next year! Give the poms something to root for and get excited about as far as the future is concerned!

Kiyo = WSBK before anywhere else also..

Oh no! I dared to insult and aussie! Shame on me!
<

I'm sorry I said that, Mladin never had it in the first place, he was only ever good enough for national series, he was a Foggy, liked being a big fish in a small pond.

"But he went faster than WSBK guys at a Philip Island test!" Yes he did, on superior Dunlops, compared to how .... the Pirelli's started off.

He used to wildcard at Laguna when WSB went there and would be consistently midfield at best... when British guys used to wildcard, they used to get double wins.
