Stoner did a very good job to comeback to 5th, but just didn't have enough time and laps left to go for the podium.
Poor Randy, couldn't keep it up for the whole race, i wished him a podium but he didn't have it in him.

Plus it looked like it was telling his crew in the garage after the race he had severe chattering under breaking.
Jeebus - even more impressive than I thought. Thanks for the info. Rode himself into a HRC contract today - if he didn't already have one.

Interesting note Jerry Burgess just said ferrari has a third car waiting for Vale if he wants it.

No idea - he just said ferrari has a third car there waiting for him whenever he wants it. Maybe he was having a joke and they have a scale replica ferrari there for him. It's been interesting with him. He also reckons motoGP should be 600cc.
He was on the coverage of the motogp race on free to air TV in australia, with quite extensive discussion before and after the race where he was asked many of the obvious questions, which he appeared to answer honestly without giving too much away on some questions.
He did directly say that ferrari would provide a third car for valentino, with the rather large qualifications that this was if the F1 rules allowed it and valentino wanted to go.

he said virtually same as Stoner has been saying about the Duc. and explained that they had already spent much time on the new forks before they got it right.
Interesting that he said Yam. have so many resources that he doubts Ducati could fix the problem faster than Yam .

Damn, Nicky blew his podium . They need to feed him raw meat the morning before the race. Very happy for Spies though. Maybe Yamer will give him Vals bike next season, after he signs with ferrari...

What a fantastic days racing we`ve had.Silverstone did an excellent job today.It was bloody elation for me to see Ben Spies take a third at the expense of Nicky (I`m a fan of both ,so it really didn`t matter which way round).
Moto 2 was just plain crazy,well done Scott Redding and not forgetting Bradley in the 125`s..........................I`m still amazed at the days racing we`ve had and a little lost for words ,or just in complete awe of it all.
