MotoGP: 2015 Round 11 - Brno (SPOILERS)

Who cares how these ..... celebrate. They just risked their lives for 50 minutes. They are entitled to release their emotions anyway they please
What did we learn today. A factory bike piloted by an injured robot is still faster than any other non factory bike.

Agreed. Yeah Pedrosa seemed pissed off and actually put that to good use for once.

I believe if we go back to the race in 2009 at Catalyna, where one Rossi had just pulled off one of the best passes in gp history, he really sticks it to Lorenzo after the race, firstly making him wait for the victory lap to finally be completed, then playing it up to the crowd, milking it for all it was worth, standing on the barriers. I was waiting for Lorenzo to respond ala Stoner and get angry. But he didn't, he just forced a smile and shook hands. Not one Rossi fan even noticed no doubt, but I think Yamaha might of. They might of noticed unlike all the other rivals, Rossi has actually never managed to bait Lorenzo into a bitter or angry retaliatory response.

Exactly. Lorenzo does it and he's a clown and an ...... Rossi does it and he's the GOAT.

God I hope Lorenzo wins it this year, because I am DYING to hear the excuses the fanboys will spout if Rossi get's beaten...

Pedrosa's fork oil ............

It just has to be Pedrosa's fault surely, I mean, afterall, isn't everything his fault .................... and we can then see or prepare for more decades of Pedrosa hate :D

I think Aragon will be Marquez. Toss up for Silverstone I think. Remember last time Marc & Jorge dueled to the line.
Yep, the last 2 years at Silverstone have come down to the last lap with JLO winning out in 2013 and Marc in 2014. 2015 i believe the Yamaha is the better package. Marc may take Aragon, but again it may be closer because the Yamaha this year is a better package. Either way, i think Lorenzo finishes ahead of Rossi in both of the next 2 rounds. Throw in a healed Pedrosa who normally is very quick at Aragon as well and you may see Rossi's fist non podium finish. Im going to predict that after Aragon, JLo is up over Rossi by 15 points

Rossi is done in my opinion...short of Carmelo telling Bridgestone to bring the hardest compounds from here to the end of the season....which isn't exactly out of the realm of possibility I suppose.

I expect you're right. Tho - if he finishes the season a few points behind Lorenzo - it won't be an embarrassment. That'll come in the years following while he falls further and further back ala Kid 69. His new nickname will be the Cruisin' Custard King. Tho - he will break the record for for the most t-shirts and caps sold.

Would y'all please leave Colonel Mustard King alone. He's had a great season regardless of the outcome and he's still the GOAT. He's feeling the pressure less than the rest thats for sure.

Naah, Dorna would never let that happen. They'll bring in a Claiming Rule where all bikes are only allowed to use road bike engines limited to 17bhp and Rossi will be allowed to keep his works M1 complete with cruise control and a zimma frame....

Pampered he may well be, but that pass at turn 14 on both the Ducati was sheer class - one of the best moves of the year.

For the record.... I'd love to see him (fairly) win this season and then retire with dignity (and take Dani with him so other younger riders can move up). Rossi has given us some great races and has been good for the sport in many ways. I think his return to form this year has been very impressive. But leaving while at the top of their form just doesn't seem to be the way of the world with these guys.

Disagree. He's been on top of the world this season and everybody was saying it's his championship to lose. Now it's slipping away and at his age he has to know if it's not this year, it's not to be. So if anything, the pressure is huge.

The time I really remember Rossi outwardly betraying signs of stress was after he was beaten by Gibernau final turn at Sachsenring and was subsequently mauled by the notoriously fickle Italian media. I've always thought that this was the reason why Rossi claimed after the sweeping incident at Qatar that he had been 'looking for a reason not to talk to Sete for some time'.

Saying that, he was looking as disconcerted in Parc Ferme last Sunday as I've seen him since the Ducati farce.

Stoner did, and he was called out for being a ...... So they can't win really.

God I'd forgotten that! Funny enough I was thinking that to be fair, I couldnt remember the last time Rossi was beaten in a last lap duel. Well Sete did, and I think he wasn't given enough credit in the 04/05 seasons. He ran Rossi HARD, you only had to see how knackered Rossi looked after some of those duels to realise how well Sete pushed him.

Always made me laugh that, Kenny Roberts was still arguably the best rider in the world when he called it a day. Surtees, Hocking and Hailwood too. Do it today though "booooo pussay!"

Funny how that allegation almost invariably originates from fanboys (and girls) of Valentino Rossi.

Good points all around. Can you imagine someone calling Hailwood or Schwantz a wimp? ....... unthinkable. No serious follower of racing would ever make such an asinine allegation.

I just see Jorge and Marc under more pressure to come back Dani even to keep his ride. I hate to break it you but he will have more, if not this year, years to come. Y'all been saying that for a while meow.

It's the tire bodies -- not the compounds. Soft medium and hard compounds can sit on both softer and harder bodies -- at each given race, the tire body is only of one type.

Big difference between riding and competing for the championship. Nicky's been "riding" for years.
