MotoGP 2014 Round 9 - Sachsenring, Germany

Really you don't think that a lot of people watch just to see who crashes, its part of the game.
I can remember when I 1st started watching races and I was told, if you don't want to see crashes then you shouldn't be watching, these sports ARE dangerous, people get killed or seriously injured.
yeah. there are crashes. this sport is dangerous. people get injured and even killed. this is one aspect of it. but it's not why I am watching it. 'don't watch it if you don't want to see crashes' doesn't equal 'I am watching because of the crashes'. those who do are .......... period.

Don't get your panties in a twist love....

Well it seems you have become a woman basher on the Forum. Bet your Mom is
proud of the man you have grown into. Or maybe it's your Mom's panties
that are in a wad over the way you conduct yourself.

Keep asking myself why is he so rude and insulting to new members. Because
if he had read the "Hi guys," thread, he would know how to answer Cinzia
properly. The only conclusion I can come up with is he is trying to drive
new members away.

My way of thinking is we nurture and educate new members into well rounded
fans over time. We should encourage them to post and lead them to the
proper conclusions with our knowledge of the sport. We don't need to offend
them by issuing insults and curtailing their posting. We could consider
them as trainees.

Lest someone post the "He is trying to take over" remark let me say right
now..........Hell No, I wouldn't have the job.

From what I can see this is a self maintaining forum and we as members
(collectively) should set the standards and doing those things necessary
to grow the forum should be one of those standards.

This is an excellent example of the leadership that I was referring to in my previous post.

To answer your question, no, i dont think " a lot " of people watch bike racing for the crashes, and those who do are lower than whale ..... This is not hockey where people go to see a fight, this .... is life and death, not a busted lip and a loose tooth. You know, i could see wishing for someone to have a mechanical failure if my rider needed to make up bunches of points, but wishing for a "massive" off for any bike racer tells me all i need to know about you.

I come here for banter about bike racing, I don't check every new post in the introductions thread. I didn't know she was a chick and if she want's to take my comments personally then that's her problem. I come here for banter and am adult enough to know that some people won't agree with my opinions, I don't whine about it to the school teacher and am not about to start being lovey dovey with everyone on here. Those who don't like it? there's an ignore button.

I have a thick enough skin to realise that this is the internet and not real life, where I treat women with plenty of respect thank you Dr Freud.

Well I was not expecting this type of response. Thank you. I had
assumed you did not check the introductions. And not preaching
to you now but only having a discussion. I think you know that
there is a banter for bike racing site. According to JKD a man
and wife run it and do most of the posting. You could go there
for banter but even there you can't slag off on the wife too
much else you will be banned. So there are limits to what can
be posted no matter where you are on the internet.

For example, your post about panties you could have instead said
"Shut up ..... or I will kill your ...". But you didn't. Why?
If you had, 3 days later men dressed in black wearing body armor
would have kicked down your front door and taken your computers
and phones. While you were downtown locked in a room answering
questions they would ransack your whole house. That's why.

Mark my word it won't be long before someone brings a slander
lawsuit for millions over posts made in a forum and wins it.
Then there will be a landslide of cases forcing governments
to create laws governing sites. Is that what we want? Rules
shoved down our throats. Once governments become involved they
always mess things up for us.

Each passing day society moves more of it's social life to the
internet. It was not that long ago that there was no Facebook.
I am guilty too of saying the internet is not real when in fact
each day it is getting more real.

Remember not preaching......just discussing things.

Bsnell you are adult enough to know that some people don't agree with your opinions, but you aren't adult enough to answer with a little bit good breeding......bah! And then, I think that if you are respectful of women in real life, you are also in internet (like me and other million people). Anyway there isn't my problem. I'm here just to talk about bike, I'm not here to offend someone or suffer insults from someone. So, for me it's finished here.

She seemed a little needy and fragile to me.;)

Povole ahahahah!!! You get wrong.
If I was so fragile, I didn't respond to Bsnell but I just would to delete-me from the forum. It don't means that I'm needy, he isn't my friend, I don't know him, so I don't understand why he have to offense me and I have to keep quiet...I'm not a quiet and passive girl who use to belt up! ;)

If the words, "dont get your panties in a twist love" offends you, you probably have no business hanging out on bike forums. From years of experience, you need to throw away the "i want to be treated " attitude " and just be one of the guys if you are going to make it on a bike forum. There will be a few who treat you like a princess, and those are the ones you have to keep an eye on, for they have ulterior motives. Capisce darlin?

You tell her pov. The very nerve of her coming on here and expecting
to post without the senior membership harrassing and provoking her
endlessly. This is a bike forum and if she can't talk mean and tough
then her ... has got to go. So glad she got a good "Capisce" whatever
that is.

How's that job at the Ministry of Propaganda working out for you anyway, Whammy? 'Endlessly'.... hahahahaha, spin-doctoring at it's zenith!

Sounds like the only female on here is Whammy.

You guys should stop bashing her. She can't handle it.

Ninnix85 seems not only able to look after herself but also cool enough not to sweet the small stuff.
If only Whammy wasn't so jammy.

Heisman finalmente uno che parla in italiano...è dura difendersi in un'altra lingua, sta diventando una storia infinita! Comunque grazie per il supporto! ;)

To others of you, this "story" is becoming an Odyssey! Why don't we stop to talk about me and begin to talk about bike? We all are here for that, not? I don't even know which are your favorites bikers but I know what you think about me....it's strange in a bike forum, not?
Anyway, thanks all, for the future (if I'll need) I know that I don't have to go from a psychologist to know myself, it necessary come here!!! :D I'm joking, obviously!!!
