I only ever recall ONE race where Rossi says he rode at 100%, PI 03'.
So, this means he was sandbagging in all the other races.
hmmm, maybe I'm not getting it right... well, what exactly means to sandbag in racing context? My question is serious, I don't know many jargons.

Sandbagging may refer to:
Deceiving someone by pretending to be weak.
Sandbagging (racing), a driver deliberately drag races or qualifies slower than what the car can actually perform
It means you aren't showing your full potential, but on purpose not because of injuries.

It is shaping up for a good battle now. Especially if they don't let CS get away or if he repeats last year.....
Other than that the first 6 are hard to separate, race day is always different though. More practice should hopefully see them all close up a bit to the lead.

Agreed, I think we'll see good battles for not only the podium but through the first 7 or so positions. The battle at the front will be interesting. The Honda's will do well where their speed advantage pays off while the Yam's will prove strong on tracks that require precise handling. Not to mention the Speez/Lorenzo battle that's sure to take place. I suspect that by round 4 Rossi will begin to advance and edge very near the podium if not sooner. I'm certain Super Sic will podium and probably trade paint with someone along the way.
The backmarkers will be there but I think we'll see better racing throughout the pack than we saw last year.
