Hayden's been spending most of this session in the pits it appears. Even when he comes out, he doesn't appear to be pushing very hard. It's looks to me like they're testing more than they're trying to get a flying lap????

Rossi managed to be worst than yesterday. Incredible.
not really.. he is more consistent at 1:56 mid than yesterday. looks like he's trying to find the race pace.

I think Pedro will be a lot closer than he looks now. At the moment, it's only in sector 3 he can't match Stoner and they will get that ironed out.
Stoner is already at it again, serious as hell in the pits and apparently looking for more improvement (judging by his gestures and what I've read, rear edge grip). I think he was actually a bit annoyed with his last run, because the rear stepped out a bit in one of the faster corners while he was obviously looking to further improve his quickest time. Gotta love the guy.

Stoner looks and perofrms like the best alien, at this moment.
Spies is still infront of Horhay.
Rossi still miles behind. if he finishes in top 5, he has done enough for the first race. But to think this is one of the best ducati tracks, so the things can get even uglier in the next round.

Stoner's times look scary. BTW, I read from some twitter feed that CS was on soft tyres and Pedro was on hard? Can someone confirm that?

It's not a Ducati track. Go check the results in the past years, exclude Stoner, and look at how the Ducati's have done.

These are the comments I saw in motomatters forum which made me ask the question
"Stoner's fast lap was on a soft tyre, his times with the hard ones remain pretty much the same I think while Pedrosa seems to have caught up."

What does that mean the soft tires are worth? Certainly more than the .3 back to yesterday..."

cal crutchlow supprised me getting into the top ten but will hold out on getting to excited until hes done the next fp . but its a good start never exspected to see all 4 yams in the top ten
