Another great ride by Bradl, i'm not convinced yet this form can last a whole season because he's always been prone to patches of form, but he was so cool when people around him were doing too much. Ianonne looks like Simoncelli mk2 and really needs to calm down just a bit to get the big prize, but he spices up every race he's involved in so i'm always looking for him. Disappointed with Luthi since he is usually so consistent, i guess he wants the elusive win pretty badly but for me it was a bit early to be pushing in that sense, i suppose he just got caught out. Marquez made another rookie mistake, he seemed to just lose control of the bike on the breaks and that was it, maybe he needs to bulk up a bit to handle bigger bikes with his small size, it looked like 06 all over again the way that repsol bike got lose on the bumps. He needs to finish a race soon, he's not going to win the title as a rookie like this, but more importantly he needs to get some race experience, or at least remind everyone of his raw speed.

You're right, it was the same turn as '06. I don't think that was it Tom - not simply losing control on the brakes - he was running into the corner far too hot with no chance of losing speed and collected Reading in the process. In '06 Pedrosa tried to go under Nicky and low sided on the bump.

Agree about Iannone and his netherworldly speed. He was unlucky to lose the front after such a superb charge combining so many clean passes. That said, he certainly is Simoncelli mk.2 - and still needs to curb his enthusiasm. Remember the move on Pol Espagaro? Frightening talent though.

First time I've said this, but I felt a mite sorry for Sofluoglu.

I'm glad Takahashi stood on the rostrum. I remember him wild carding years ago at a rainy Motegi - may even have been Suzuka, alongside his late brother in the 250 class.

Well i think Dani was only inside Nicky because he made the same mistake Marquez did on Sunday, but that comes down to how we feel about that particular incident, and it is not the time or place to get back into that. The point is, Marc seems to have lost some of his cool since last year and i'd really like him to get it back because these crashes are disappointing, and i'd hate to see him injured.

I remember it well, in fact i was discussing it this weekend. That was a silly move to try and an inevitable result, why he felt the need to headbut pol after taking him out i'll never know

Just watched LeMans and Marquez rode a very smart race, is he another Puig prodigy? Pretty good racing thru the top 10. How about Bradley Smith, I think he's doing great.

Jeez hope superglue & simon are ok that looked like a nasty one

Sofaglu seriously ...... up. A really bad move. Brain-fade. Ugh! Poor Simon.

Luthi took out Takashi and Sofuoglu did the same to Simon. And with Iannone making mistakes this weekend it seems that Bradl is running away in the championship.

Difference been Luthi had no control in taking out takahashi but sofuoglu just ran into the back of of simon

No air fence at that section of the circuit either

Noticed that. Odd, indeed.

Seems that Simon suffered a broken leg in the accident

I believe they said a fractured femur. That's the end of Simon's championship, then. I'd be shocked if he's back in time for Mugello, maybe he could make Sachsenring, but that's still just six weeks. With the championship already gone, may as well wait for Brno.

No he is under the guidance of Emilio Alzamora

Pretty decent race today, despite a few scary incidents. Shame to hear about Simon's injury. Bradl seems to be just getting stronger all the time and this consistency will be tough to beat.

Apologies, it's a tibia/fibula break.

Thats seriously bad news for simon!

Dont know what sofuoglu was thinking

Brad Smith looks alot more at home on the moto2 bikes and its good to see!

Sofogulu really ...... up. I don't thick they will penalize him, but I'd say his .... up was way worse than Zarco or Simoncelli, both of which got penalties. The only redeeming action from Sofogulu (who I don't particularly like after he talked stupid .... to Josh Hayes) is that he got up and immediately apologized to Simon. The thing is Sofogulu went down, so they will think that is penalty enough, which logically does NOT make sense.
