Marquez is clearly the class of the field. He has taken total command of the series. The way he is going, wouldnt it be something if he won out and took the title with no help. There is no reason for him to stay in Moto2 after this year. If i were Honda, i would give him Ayoma's seat for next year with factory support, then move him to Pedro's seat in 2013 if he shows well.

Seems as if Honda is thinking the same way i am

It's not like it's some big secret. Everyone should know if Pedro doesn't win a championship or come very close within the next couple of seasons, he's out in favor of Marquez.

If the first two corners are anything to go by, this MOTO2 race is gonna be an epic !

Dare I say that was one NO! The best race of the year so far.

I think Marquez tried to break the rest earlier but they still had equal rubber, waited, and pulled the pin when he saw others tyres were going off. Brilliant ride from him.

Bradders did ok battling back from 18th to 7th

Dont know what happened to Bradl, I thought he'd caught the Zarco bug
<

bradl confirmed problems with his rear wheel, the tyre moved a lot on the rim

Is that what happened? Please provide more information if you can, i'm sure the normal english websites will get it soon enough though. I'm not sure if i was just looking for a problem but i could swear the onboard camera on Bradl's bike showed exessive vibration. A shame for him, i don't think there will be a whole lot he can do now.

yup, go to sport1.de and watch the video interview with him and hofmann, but i'm afraid that won't be of much use if you don't speak german

bradl literally : "it would have vibrated my brains off"

Well that news seems to be available in english afterall, but thanks for letting us know. A real shame for Bradl, i don't think it'll be significant in the greater scheme of things but it must be hard for him to take. I think if Marquez doesn't make a major error he will win the title, if Bradl pulls it off it would be incredible.

The race on sunday was absolutely unreal, one of the best i've seen in years. I wish Smith could sort out his qualifying because he has front running pace, and i think 4th at least could have been on the cards this Sunday. I still can't believe none of the riders in that battle crashed out

Does anybody have a torrent link for the last moto2 race? I'v missed the schedule and would love to see it.

Thanks!

Hi All

IMO the moto 2 engine should have been a 675cc triple. Just to change it around a bit. This is becoming an increasingly popular configuration. The big boys are all pretty much running 4s (inline or V). It just would have made it that little bit more interesting. Maybe they can have a choice of 2 control engines, the 675cc triple and the 600cc inline 4.

Am I alone here? Gimme your feedback..

Yes you are all alone.

All the team are tooled for Honda's, costs are being kept low, Motogp already has 2 control engines in Yamaha and Honda. How about Triumph or MV Augusta win a championship with a 675 first?

Ain't going to happen. If Honda walked out on the control engine Yamaha would be next followed by Kawasaki, then Suzuki and so on and so forth. I don't think either triumph or MV are big enough or focused enough on that portion of their product base to be able to do it.

However crazier things have happened.

I can see the merit in having a choice in engine configuration, with disadvantages and advantages with each selection. But; as with all things racing, everyone will want what the winners got so the bias will always go one way.
