Incredible race!! Possibly the best of the season in any class. Sofuoglu did really well, next weekend will be interesting. Iannone looked like he could win it, but it isn't all that surprising that he fell off. He is always exciting to watch though, i think its great. DeAngelis is looking good at the end of the seaosn i really hope he can stay in this class next year.

Good news that Smith has got himself a ride with a decent team, i just hope the bike is more competative than it has been this seaosn (maybe the riders don't do it justice?)

Possibly. Takahashi did win on it this year tho right? I think the bike has something there.

Really great race, got lucky w/ no rain..seemed to get dark on some parts of the track. Sofuoglu was pretty damn impressive, used up his tires too much but for the first time riding the bike in the dry and at a new track...wow. Scott Redding also did an amazing job starting 25 and just missing out on 3rd. Shame for Elias, didnt look like he had much to give tho.

Yea Yuki won in Barcelona. The bike looked more competative at the start of the season, if i recall correctly.

Also, i think Scott Redding started 10th.

Actually, you were right (ish) it was 24th. I didn't realize he did such a good job

I have to agree with you. Impressive rides by Sofu and Iannone. With 38 riders (and more next year) in Moto2, MotoGp class is in danger of losing to Moto2 if only 15 riders on the grid next year.

Losing what? Its definitely gonna lose on entry numbers, just like it did this year.

I think V5 is talking quality of racing , Tom.He`s probably right too.

Was a great race scott redding iannone and keenan, especially with him riding the bike with a prob how many times did he bray .... out of the left handlebar
<

Putting me head on the chopping block and saying Keenan will have the Moto2 title on 2011.

Was thinkin the same thing earlier when i was watchin practice. They said he might take Elias' bike also.

It would be hard to rule him out but i'm not gonna make any predictions now hahah

Kenan Sofuoglu Signs For Technomag CIP Moto2 Squad For 2011

that's Tommi' san's team ?

ty

Kropotkin motomatters

Kallio to Marc VDS ? with Redding ?

Interesting, i wonder how the two riders will compared and if Mikka can get his career back on track.

Last race this season was another great one, so much passing and riders in the lead battle. Elias's bike looked brilliant and he obviously wanted to round the season out on a high, that pass though was far too ambitious. Never gonna happen. I feel a bit sorry for Simon, he is so desperate to win a race but it's just not happening for him. Abraham was looking quick all race long and got himself in a good position, in the end it worked out great when he was in the right position to take the win. It must feel great for him to help justify his move to motopg and step up on a high, it wasn't too unlike DeAngelis's first win here a few years ago really. Can't wait to see how the rider market shakes out and how our two brits will compare

Superglue will be a force in Moto2. That was a bonehead move yesterday, but he has proven he can step into the series and run up front from the get go.I would love to see Eslick, Cardenas, and Herrin in this series, they can ride the .... out of a 600.

2011 looks like a Iaonne, Sofuoglu, Redding, and Simone battle royale...will be exciting for sure!

I think he'll be a front runner too, but i'm not sure he deserves too much blame for the accident, Bradl moved over on the brakes, obviously thinking he was further ahead than he was. In hindsight Kenan should have conceeded the corner earlier but he was amongst the latest on the brakes so you can see why he'd try to make it hard. It's a shame it cost him everything

He is a late braker, but he was kidding himself with that move. especially from the outside. Thats one of those moves where you need to be on the inside and use the other bike as a crash deflector
<
Its up to the guy making the pass to pull it off, regardless of what the other guy does. Like Lorenzo yesterday, i hope he was shaking his head at himself, not Simoncelli, Sic owed him nothing as far as track space.

Yes in the end it was not wise at all.

In other news: Kev Coghlan has signed to replace Debon and ride full time next year, 3 Brits. Bring it on

Brits looking good for future talent no doubt. I've been impressed with Redding.
