Superglue will be a force in Moto2. That was a bonehead move yesterday, but he has proven he can step into the series and run up front from the get go.I would love to see Eslick, Cardenas, and Herrin in this series, they can ride the .... out of a 600.

I think the level in Moto2 would be above them IMO

Hard to say really, as all the boys mentioned have no fear at all with banging fairings and intimidation. I would love to see another American or Americans in the mix for Moto2, I believe DiSalvo made a good case for being there, but for whatever reason I'm just not a fan of his.

Have not seen anything here, just that on facebook Max Neukirchner is heading to motogp2! Really hope he shines and stays on the good side of luck.

He's riding the MZ so don't get your hopes up

Marquez's Moto2 machine looks slick. It's nice they didn't use Repsol's corporate colors.

Its interesting that this team were due to use the FTR chassis, but Marquez and Alzamora vetoed that decision and insisted the bike was a suter. I also heard on Neil Spaldings twitter that when Ianonne was seen at the Valencia moto2 test he looked a bit disillusioned, possibly from realizing he'd moved from the best bike on the grid (FTR) to the Suter. Perhaps there is something in the package Suter offer that is better, like price, development, technical support or something.

I think Iannone will be just fine, there's something about this kid that reminds me of when i was watching Rossi when he was in 125's & 250's.

Wait till he hits the GP scene !

No Americans in Moto2 now....Jack& Jones pulls out. See Motomatters link.

And probably wont be for a while. American riders like to get payed for risking their lives

Reports are surfacing all over Europe this morning that the Antonio Banderas-backed Jack and Jones Moto2 team which featured American rider Kenny Noyes, has folded and the team seems to be disbanding.

Noyes set pole at the 2010 French Moto2 race.

On a recent Soupkast, American Roger Lee Hayden said that the majority of the Moto2 rides that he was offered for 2010 2011 came with no salary and an expectation by the team that he would bring 300,000 Euro ($396,420) to pay the team.

Noyes was the lone American in the class.

Colin has this to say about the riders who ride for free, or pay for a ride

You've got good riders, let's say, offering to come ride MotoGP basically for free. Which is fcking ........, to put it bluntly. It's these dillweeds that are kind of screwing up things for others,

Vyrus To Build Moto2 Motorcycle

Vyrus 986 Moto2

This is excellent news! We have a soft spot for Vyrus and now they are going to be brought to an even wider audience by getting into Moto2.

At the 2011 Verona Motor Bike Expo on January 21-23rd, Vyrus will display the 986 M2 which has been specifically designed to be sold and compete in Moto championships.

Rodrigo Ascanio, the main man at Vyrus (a former Bimota technician), said: “It’s the interpretation of Moto2 according to Vyrus – a bike that fits into our genre, but with many innovative features that represents our projects. It will be characterized by a very affordable price to those teams who compete in these series.”

The bikes will use a Honda CBR 600RR engine and, apparently, there’ll also be a street version as well. It looks like both bikes will use the “non-fork” design that makes Vyrus so special.

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/02/11/vyrus-986-m2-brings-major-technology-leap-to-moto-2/

Vyrus has been bringing its unique take on motorcycle design to the well-heeled masses for several years now, but the company's technology is about to make the giant leap to Moto 2 racing courtesy of the 986 M2 race bike, which is promised to spawn a version for the street by the end of the year. It's beautiful, and now we have real pictures to drool over.<br style="line-height: 0.8em; <br style="line-height: 0.8em; The most obvious change from typical motorcycles and Moto 2 competitors is the hub-center steering that Vyrus has perfected on its larger-capacity machines such as the 987 C3 4V. Since all Moto 2 racers are required to run the same spec engine, which is based heavily on the 600cc unit that powers Honda's middleweight repli-racers, unique solutions like hub-center steering may separate Vyrus from the rest of the pack.<br style="line-height: 0.8em; <br style="line-height: 0.8em; But that's not all Vyrus is unleashing on the 986 M2. Note that the radiator is placed beneath the engine and that the exhaust exits through two highly stylized ports that poke out above the swingarm. Speaking of which, that rear swingarm uses a linkage to actuate a shock mounted 90 degrees from what's considered normal shock placement. All of these bits have their purpose, be it mass centralization or improved rider feedback.<br style="line-height: 0.8em; <br style="line-height: 0.8em; Perhaps the most intriguing news of all, though, is that the company hopes to launch the road version of the 986 M2 by September of 2011 for a relatively attractive €25,000 ($34,000) price. Suffice it to say, we're highly intrigued. Check out the high-res gallery of images below.

I'd say Iannone, Simon, De Angles, Marquez. I suppose ex Moto Gp guys like Espargaro and Kallio will also do pretty well there.
