generally speaking rossi like to use hard tyres compared to casey. duno if thats the reason, it mat just be there style.

Apparently Casey had the absolute hardest tyre Bridgestone makes for motogp on at Brno.

Yep, they both say they use the hardest tyres and prefer them as well. hence i became a bit inquisitive.

I believe from my following of Casey that he tends to use hard tyres, also if you watch the boring races where he leads the whole race he tends to set his best times in the third quarter, the fuel gets down, the tyres warm up and he usually extends his lead then maintains it for the final laps.

I think softer tyres are the exception. It may be the factor (using those tyres and being able to use those tyres) that sets the two fastest guys apart from the pack, who knows?

not what the eurosport team said at brno, they said casey use's soft tyres compared to rossi, only repeating what they said. i think casey switched to harder tyres for laguna and brno and we all know what happened.. just a thought.

I'm only quoting what Daryl Beatie (ex 500cc No.2) has said consistently on Channel 10 (Aus). Lot of experts around.

What is it with Toni Elias at the moment? Contract time has got him going...
