Hopper is supposedly too sore, bruised ribs or something. Jules Ryder mentioned something about his wife not being there could possibly be a reason for his not riding. Not sure if he was taking the piss or what.

Don't you get the feeling Hopper's career is going the way of McCoy's.....?

He Loads and Loads of potential and some promising performances, but just gets hurt and hurt and hurt again.....if you are Kawasaki and Sponsors then you might be thinking what are we paying for a win, place. show....or medical bills, no results, no bike development, No tv time for sponsor....not a great combo....

He should miss this race and get fully healthy and stay that way for the rest of 2008 and 2009 or he really will be following McCoy career path...

No - McCoy could win races.

I like to think of this as Melandri practicing for 2009 Kawasaki results...

Beat me to it, Doohan.

Can anybody tell me why CS always comes with a big lap on his 1st or 2nd lap after the outlap but VR always takes 3-4 laps to get that time. I thought of tires But aren't they using same tires now?!?!

Totally different bikes and riding styles...Vale is more finesse and Casey has more of a Hammer approach...any number of things...

Lorenzo seems pretty quick with those Michelins. I am wondering what will be tomorrow if he happens to be faster than VR (I am quite sure that Rossi did not show eveything he's got yet though, this will be another Sunday-miracle as in Laguna). Pedrosa is no that far as well, it seems Michelin found some kind of solution...hope they do not fade as the race goes on.
Woow, now I see VR got second finally but Stoner improved again...0.7s...
