Well, mixed wet dry FP2 generated some interesting results.

Not sure if it's been widely reported in the media, but apparently Mir suffered at Phillip Island due to a malfunctioning tire pressure sensor. The team though the tires were correctly filled, but the tire pressures were actually much too high. Simon Crafar said between .5-1bar too high in the front and rear tire. The bike was basically unrideable.

Pol gets a 3 place penalty after his dangerous rejoin in front of Zarco after Pol had an off track excursion

IMO, thoroughly deserved and possibly even light if looked at as an individual incident, but fair penalty when compared to standard or consistent punishment for that type of action

Why Morbidelli is in trouble with a double long lap penalty (3rd offence)

Well, could be Ducati's first title since Stoner.
Talk of Fabio having a crack with nothing to lose.
We'll see. Looking forward to it.
I consider it quite likely that they will cut each other’s throats. and have done for some time. It looks like Bagnaia agrees.

If today is an example of how they race with Bagnaia on the cusp of the title and Bastianini no chance of doing so as the race unfolded imagine how it will be next year I have to give some plaudits to Bagnaia for giving no quarter with so much to lose, although settling for second might have been the smart move.

Ducati had better enjoy this title because I don’t think either of these guys will best both their team mate and MM if Honda give MM a halfway decent bike, nor FQ depending on what his chances are of Yamaha giving him a competitive bike.

Bagnaia on the cusp of winning the title I meant .

Well, it's a longshot but Fabio is still in. Martin looks like the new Crutchlow, very fast but can't keep the bike straight. Marc didn't lie when he said FPs and quali didn't reflect how much he was suffering here. Morbidelli's lunge on Aleix was criminal. Props to Bagnaia for not folding under pressure and fighting tooth and nail to the end, Bastianini is making sure there are no accusations of team orders.

That was awesome racing all way round. Props to Pecco. Fabs not giving up. Morbidelli is an ........
I missed all FP and QP this weekend. What did Morbidelli do to get a double long lap? Also, surprising that he was near the front at start of race. An unusual sunday performance for his standard race day.

The factory Ducati box is going to be very interesting next year!
The Beast and Pecco in there.
They both believe and will both strive.
I can see some hard, hard racing between them.😉

Personally, I am getting Yamaha (Rossi v Lorenzo) vibes for Ducati 2023.

IMO, but Ducati have already experienced Dovi vs Ianonne andt hat did not work out well.
