Le Man Race Discussion *SPOILER*

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Tom @ May 20 2007, 11:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I disagree here because based on previous form it would seem that rossi and yamaha would have an even larger advantage over stoner and ducati after the rain downpour, which is why i think Rossi should have capitalized more. As for his early gap, even those conditions were damp and questionable and i think Rossi pushed hard to get out there, i would not consider it a true reflection on dry weather pace.

as mentioned previously, both rossi and burgess admitted that they chose a hard tire for the B bike because they thought the rain was going to let up, not get worse. why would rossi/yamaha have had an even bigger advantage over stoner/ducati?

Okay ... didn't get to post much this morn. ... but okay, here we go.

Kathlean's very very very very very happy.

2. ... Vermy won?

3. god dammit i love wet races.

AHHHHH!

good race?

very good race. im estatic as you could beleive. Vermullet brought a tear to my eye. Heart in my throat at every corner, scared to hell that V-man would bin it. Riders dropped like flies faced with Pea-Bow. ( pea.... bow.... pea.... bow.... pea-bow!)

Great timing for a Aussie win .. on a suzuki too ... very befitting to the memory of Jack Findlay... Fox Sports did a good tribute to him at the end of the race too .... RIP mate.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (drumfu @ May 21 2007, 08:55 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>why would rossi/yamaha have had an even bigger advantage over stoner/ducati?

Well the fact that it Michelins home track, has no long straights and plenty of twisty bits to make Casey's life really hard. Add water to that and the handful that is the ducati becomes an even larger factor and the rain master should exercise his powers. And honestly in a wet race before yesterday i would have bet on Casey to ride around making errors, not Vale.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Electric Mofo @ May 21 2007, 11:32 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>So I was wright then? It wasn't Michelins fault.

It was Michelins fault if you're a rossi fan

if you guys watched the race on eurosport you would have heard jeremy burgess saying that rossi and hopkins made the same choise for rain tyre which is why they didnt perform well. ie they got it wrong. Big embarresment for michelin though, if it continues like this i gotta feeling they might be out of motogp.

BTW to many idiots on this forum.

yes you know who you are.

He had a good pace. You can always fall. Pedrosa also almost fell and Rossi was also having a hard time to stay on track. That's normal in wet conditions. But the thing is Rossi had no pace at all, while "Kid" Pedrosa had and also Hayden. And both were on Michelins ...

A troll is a fearsome member of a mythical anthropomorph race from Scandinavia. Their role ranges from fiendish giants – similar to the ogres of England (also called Trolls at times, see Troller's Gill) – to a devious, more human-like folk of the wilderness, living underground in hills, caves or mounds. In Orkney and Shetland tales, trolls are called trows, adopted from the Norse language when these islands were settled by Vikings"

Indeed. Yours is not completely reliable. But it states a troll is a race from Scandinavia and Babelfish is Norvegian so your source has some truth in it.

Great race, I was getting tanked from 5pm to 2am here!

French Guys at the front was interesting till they crashed and burned! Pramac did ok The Hoff must be still shellshocked from claiming his highest position.

BTW I was drinking with 2 Italians from Pramac Ducati, funny that some of the parts are made here in China!

Well done CV, The rainmeister, biggest disapointment, thought KRJ would be up there or thereabouts..

From Wikipedia
This is TROLL:
In Internet terminology, a troll is someone who intentionally posts derogatory or otherwise inflammatory messages about sensitive topics in an established online community such as an online discussion forum to bait users into responding[1]. They may also plant images and data on networks that others may find disturbing (usually indirectly relating to the individual in person) in order to cause confrontation. While not necessarily related to hacking, such a practice is against the Computer Misuse Act 1990, where mischief is caused in order to ensure chaos is spread.
