jumkie if you read again your post, dont you think you sound like the one who knows it all and thinks everyone else is a fool or something? all of us that are just simple spectators, cant possibly know for sure what is going on except if you are indeed an insider or something in motogp.

even if what you say is true, even if rossi did have special tyres in the 990s, even if everyone now races rossi's preferable tyres, even if he is half as good as his records show, and he has soooooo much power in this world that has blinded everyone but you, then what can i say, the man must be a true genious then, fooling everybody.. so hats off to him! hahah, true fanboy, i guess i am, right?

Jumkie your special rider even could not win those lower class titles as well shame!!!!.To stir things up guys i just got some info from inside the paddock (could well be same soruce as jumkie's guys) that CS has been getting special ducati fitted with special engine and special tyre's compare to all his teammates and the reason for that was, dorna wanted some body else to win the championship apart from Rossi in 07.

This clarify the special performance CS put it in 2007, before that he could hardly win anything even those lower class championships as well.

In 08, how many riders wanted bridgestones? How many riders got bridgestones? You will find your answer right there as to who gets preferential treatment and who this series revolves around.

bear in mind rossi's comtract with michilin had expired. He decided to sign with a different company, nothing to do with dorna just as if his contract with his boots company were up. whereas dani skipped mid season. how many strings do you think he pulled to do that ? you have either a very short or very select memory sacky !

Don't you all remember Bridgestone saying that they wouldn't supply tires to any more riders? Valentino got them before 2008, Pedrosa got them mid-season. There are two powers in this sport and it's been that way for about the past seven years: Valentino Rossi and HRC. Valentino gets what he wants and HRC gets what they want for their chosen rider. It's not surprising Pedro got them midway through the year. What is surprising is that Rossi was able to get them before HRC.

yes i do remember and if you care to do some digging back you will see i didn't believe bridgstone and there "we cant supply any more bla bla" bollocks back then. i was right because not only did they supply rossi, they also supplied pedro and bid to be the sole supplier. that was just marketing mumbo jumbo. just look at the free press they got out of that.

Austin, there is no official statement to back this up from Bstone anywhere.I think it was all typical media roumors.(if there is please provide link)

If i remember correctly i heard roumors saying that Bstone can't afford to supply tyres to any more riders and look now they supplying the tyres to whole grid.

When Gavin and Nick speak about paddock issues, I take them at their word. They get the low down on everyone, but only give tidbits and reasonably well confirmed info. They said Bstone didn't have the supply capacity.

Of course Bridgestone can supply the whole grid. It's a spec tire with a restricted allocation. I'd bet they are making and spending LESS than they did in 2007.

If that's true then where being robbed and this was yet another stupid rule that was detrimental to our sport. To be honest i cant see that being correct.

OK, late to the show but......Rog, have you been giving Jumkie Merrydown and Westons again? Something has gone terribly wrong here!

Now youv'e "proved" Rossi is crap, what's next? A 400 page essay on how Stoner really won the title last year? The fact the 07 Duke was a missile past Rossi et all was down to camera angles?

It's the old thing buddy, not all Rossi fans are brainless 10 year olds who have never followed GP racing. I'm on my way out so I'm not going to join in tonight, but come on, it's getting silly!
