The low-res (@450kb/s) vid is pretty blurry, especially the captions - couldn't read them at all - could just about make out what colour of helmet was coming up for the sectors. Had to use the live timing to figure that stuff out. Presume that the Hi-Res is better than that, so maybe it should just be called higher-res.

It's not high definition if thats what people think. It's a higher resolution than their basic feed. I'm going to purchase it even for the extra cash it'll make the motogp races a bit more watchable.
I didn't have any problems with the video feed so I'm pretty happy about that. I did have problems with live timig. I could get live timing on my laptop but I couldn't get it on my mac. So I just had them side by side - watch the racing on the mac and get live timing on the laptop. It seemed to work out ok.

Saying that, the pricing is ridiculous for what you get. I think about US$50 would be about right for the whole season including the off season. If they want more people watching it then they should be lowering prices not increasing them. Dorna has a lot to answer for.

Definatly not HD stuff, but I think it was OK. Went for the season package this time and pretty happy with the picture. Even my country side adsl seems to be up to the job as well. Tested some streaming capture software that seems to work ok too so I'm gonna by that one also.

I didn't watch it live, because I fell asleep. (I'm a morning person).
Watching it this morning, I thought the Hi-res looked better than last year. Perhaps the widescreen format matched my monitor better. 22" widescreen, same one that I had last year.

Good to see all the bikes back in action. Stoner looking ominous, bike was completely hooked up. Rossi looking really good, bit more time on the wets and he should be there.

Mixed conditions a bit of a lottery, but you could tell who ready to go in all conditions and who is only fast in the dry.

I tries the high res with no problems.
My only complaint was that although it was a bigger screen it still wasn't a full screen.

I want to to buy it but it's going to cost around $150 dollars.
I guess it's worth it because last year with the blurry screen it was hard to tell the difference between
the Gresini bikes and the Fiat Yam's.
That was quite annoying.

cos he opens up the throttle?? because his mum gets a free Beemer?

Stoner completely blitzed everyone else!

He didn't even apear to be trying very hard while I kept thinking, what is everyone waitign for?

Did anyone else notice that Rossi's bike sounded like it was cutting out like Stoners bike for the traction control? I know it was wet but the yam never did that last year.

Same so far on day 3

Suzuki's seem to have found something at last.

are all the races on SPEED but arent they Taped?
speeds coverage BLOWS! once you get to see the whole show at themotogp website you'll never bother with speeds piss poor coverage again. you can watch all the races 125s, 250s & the 800s. no comercials non stop.

the motogp site pisses me off it i bought the normal pakage and missed the races lol but anyway i can only re watch them if i purchased the high res pack and that sucks, when i checked both pakages they were listed with the same content other than hgh res being high res, so i cant watch replays cos i didnt purchase the high res pack even tho they supposed to be the same so im seriously annoyed.

Not sure on the numbers, but it's the fastest Time Warner offer...Road Runner turbo....you won't be able to watch old races till you buy a full year pack.
