Getting the thread up early, post the times here when they're available.

Go JT!

I'm calling it right now:

Last testing session = Nicky on top by a hair

On the last day, Hayden will get to ditch the chronically underpowered and explosive 2008 lump and swap it for last years latest spec. It will be clinic in fine riding.

Weather seems to be fine for having 2:01's being pumped out, but we don't know what schedule everyone is on.

Well done to Casey for atleast trying some laps.
<

And good going from JT, .5 from his benchmark.

Update on that, I quote this from another forum:

"Meeting is running late, so been able to translate Pedrosa's crash, he has been taken to hospital, with possible broken right hand.

The fire was attended to quickly, but there was also a small explosion, which created more caution for the marshalls."

Taking lessons from Casey?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (phleg @ Jan 22 2008, 12:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Update on that, I quote this from another forum:

There are OTHER forums?!

So new ducati riders at the bottom and De Puniet used something sticky - like he usually does.

Would be cool if motogp.com did more during preseason - what are people actually paying for during the off season?!

It's great to see the Suzuki's showing promise at the start of 2008!

There is something about that Ducati and Stoner ... the others are really struggling to come to grips with it ... early days I know, but they have a lot of (hard) work to do!

Thanks for posting the times phleg!

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/64792

"Dani Pedrosa could be forced to miss the remainder of this week's MotoGP test at Sepang in Malaysia after injuring himself in an accident on Tuesday.

Initial reports suggest that the Repsol Honda rider lost control of his bike at Turn 11, the uphill right hander.

The bike slid into the gravel and eyewitness reports suggest that as he walked away from the machine it exploded. The subsequent fire damage appears to have put the bike beyond repair.

Worse for Pedro, though, was that he hurt himself in the crash. He was taken to a nearby hospital for X-ray scans and sources suggest that they have found a hairline fracture in his arm.

This has not yet been officially confirmed by the team, however. Pedrosa has been able to return to the circuit.

Pedrosa's crash came on a day when several riders hit trouble, including Fiat Yamaha duo Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo - both of whom escaped serious injury with their spills."
