I can see why you're bitter - Three wins, a second place and two thirds is just not trying hard enough.

Only winning 33% of the races to date, only standing on the podium in 66% of the races to date - what a giveupski!

They should pull his race license.

good points and i know it was a bit much for me to compare those 2.

but really, could you imagine the casey of 06-2011 riding the same way as after retirement announcement casey did?

hes still a good rider and if he finishes the season in 3rd place i won't say "yeah he used to be good but after his retirement decision only rode ...... races". nobody in motogp races ......,especially if we're talking about podium finishing.

but since le mans i've got the impression he doesn't give it his all, when the bike wasn't right pre 2011 ( 2011 was easy enough so that he could just settle for a podium if a win was too hard) he'd fight and slide that thing to make up for the bikes negatives. now - not so much.

call me a fanboy and irrational, but i believe that if dani can put it on the podium, casey should be able to put it on the top step and fight with jorge.

and btw i respect pedrosa, i've got no hayden thing going on here
<

i don't think he lacks motivation. sachsenring proved that.

i'm not sure what it is, but something is not right with casey at the moment. he doesn't ride as good as he potentially can, he gets hot headed and makes mistakes again and he's far too agressive on track recently. something which to my memory he didn't do in 07-2011 and for which i always loved the kid. phenomenal pace and riding and clean racing. now...not so much.

hope he gets his act together ,he's already a bit far behind jorge to make it a good championship battle under normal conditions, but a few battles and wins would be nice so that this last year won't diminish my huge respect for him which he undoubtetly earned over the past years

I have a question. about Pedrosa and Stoner.... Can we say that the chattering issue bothers Casey more than Pedrosa due to their different riding style??... I think Stoner rides the bike more aggressive and wants it more loose so it can slide more on the corners while pedrosa is a little bit smoother and doesn't lean the bike like stoner. So if I'm right about their styles the Honda chatters bothers Casey's style more then Pedorsa's.... Am I right??

Ask yourself, how much motivation do you have and how hard do you work when your working your notice? I'm sure he wants to go out as champion but i dont think he want to put in the hard work needed. Lets face it, he has never been a grafter like Hayden ,has he.

well it must be all speculation for us fans!

if it has to do with riding style you might have a point, pedrosa like to spin it up to but he picks the bike up quickly whereas stoner lets it slide and pick it up itself in a way.

just one thing that won't let me believe stoner is more affected by chatter.

i've seen this guy ride the wheels of the gp08. if he can slide and competitively race a bike that pumps so hard that it looks like it will break his hip i can't imagine chatter to be worse for him

IMO the problem is more with stoner, not the bike.

Fair point.

Agreed.

don't think i can blindly agree on that chops, i don't know how hard casey works to get his sucess.

but he must have worked hard to get where he is today.

maybe his hearts not in it 100% anymore, making it difficult for his head to get it right all the time like its needed to.

but other than wild guesses we can't say anything even though the returned idiots would love to

maybe it is the old theory.. when you get married you lose some tenth and when you have a baby you lose another more tenth

Well i base my comment purely on the amount of test laps he does compared to other riders. As you rightly said, us fans are only speculating.

about stoners test laps. tend to agree but i respect his approach if he says he feels fast enough whether something works or not. after all he is known for being on the pace in very few laps.not sure he'd be faster if he put in more laps but then again i can completely understand that it makes the impression hes a bit lazy compared to the others.

about edwards : that he said crt pays better than a good wsbk ride says it all for me to be honest. love edwards, he was my guy in wsbk.but from a sports perspective what good is crt?i appeciate he'd love to help develop a good crt ride on tracks and a series he knows, but with the aprilias dominating and his team considering getting a different bike (from what i've heard and understood its not even just a new chassis or something like that, but a completely different bike, aprilia or ftr honda) there is no good reason besides money to stay.

sucks, i'd love to see edwards battle with espargaro/depuniet for top crt or with melandri/biaggi/checa/rea for wsbk crown

About Stoner: Maybe he is putting the sufficient effort he needs in the practices to get a good result in the race day. I'm not saying lazy. Pedrosa and Lorenzo are like those hardworking nerds who get high grades. Casey and Vale are the smart ........ which get the best result and bite nerds ..... at the same time.

About Colin: Maybe he is not in that racing mood he was before. He just likes to seat on his bike and enjoy the circuits. But also gets pissed off if the bike is ..... Give the old hero a break. let him enjoy and chill.

its not like i don't think he deserves it

if motogp was fair yamaha should give him an old m1 to have fun on if he wants to.

as a fan i'm just a bit upset to see him not give it all anymore.as i've said, theres sadly no good explenation why he is best crt at one race, then one of the last in the other.damnit i put my vote on him being best crt this year!maybe thats why i'm upset. but then again the aspar aprilias are really something else compared to a small firm builing a frame and a race team putting a tuned road engine in it.i get his frustration with the bosch electronics.they maybe good enough on a bmw with melandri onboard to be at the front in wsbk, but motogp is something else with the electronics.

anybody know what system the ARTs use?

i hate that racers get old at some point inevitably.

in a perfect world those guys would never get older than 30 and all race on competitive machinery.

ago vs hailwood vs rossi vs lorenzo vs stoner vs doohan vs rainey etc....that would be my kind of grid

The ARTs are not CRTs they are built by a factory as a whole bike and are very slightly modded WSBs so they are factory race bikes and should not be counted in CRT.
