Is a MUGELLO RACE THREAD being boycotted too?

Speaking of "desperate" I sent an email to the ever gracious Nick Harris suggesting just once in a blue moon he might substitute the word "determined" in place of the over-used "desperate" and he said he'd try. Turns out he didn't use the word desperate even once in either Moto 2 or MGP.

Do you think that, if I sent an email to the BBC suggesting Cox and Parrish refraining from any of the words in English dictionary, and those that they invented themselves, I could get them to shut up completely?

An excuse every week but i bet he keeps that ride,i think Dovi genuinely deserves it now.

Dovi got booted off the factory honda through no fault of his own. The boy has talent that deserves to be on a factory bike. If Yam over look him it will be their loss. I dont think Dovi could better lorenzo but he sure would give perdrosa a few problems.

First time for everything Mate.

Sure is and he has had an impeccable record during races, hopefully this will let him give other riders a bit more leeway now that he sees no one is immune from making a mistake while riding their guts out.

I think it could be a one two for yamaha next year if the chose Dovi

Not so impeccable in free practice or qualifying sadly !

Fair cop.

3. Dovi, faxing race result to Yamaha as we speak.

+ 1. If Jarvis had one iota of suss, if he foolishly doesn't want Dovi's ink on a contract they'd be looking in the direction of Owensbro right now.

Otherwise boring race for the lead, but great for the final podium spot, well done Dovi and beside the last lap Bradl looked very good, Nicky was unlucky and rode a brilliant race otherwise. Rossi rode superb to hold off Cal.

Not sure I agree with the Vale part Talps. Valentino rode a solid race - and what a great lesson for the upcoming Crutchlow, but Nicky unexpectedly gatecrashed the party arriving directly between the two. I think Cal had 5th in the bag - the Yam looked in better shape.

Watched the BBC build up because I love both Azi and Matt Roberts. Pissed myself when Matt accosted Biaggi on the grid. Turned off and watched proper race coverage unsullied by Cox and Parish in the British Eurosport highlights. BBC crack me up in their ..... approach to the sport. I love the way Eurosport make no concessions to the newbies - stick with them - it may be a steep learning curve but what an education. BBC lead with the 'exclusive' - Marquez signs to Repsol Honda 'revelation' followed by an introduction into exactly who he is for the benefit of the casual clueless observer - ( hi Nino, back again?).

Last year in the last few laps of the race Lorenzo pulled possibly the greatest pass of the season on Stoner through Casanova-Savelli. This year he rode so impeccably it wasn't necessary.

The casual nonchalant wave at the Ducati stand was priceless.

Stoner was far quicker than Bautista - .... move, unnecessary risk, frustration and red mist this weekend has possibly cost the Championship which frankly he deserves, but that rash move could have cost Bautista a lot more. I now agree with Rog, Jum, Pete and whoever else is of the opinion that this guys own issues and screwed up head are his greatest enemy. Like Biaggi - he lacks the mentality and robust psyche of a true champion. I've fought this guy's ...... up corner for too long. Love him as a rider, respect his reasons for retiring, but if you're going to speak your mind - first ensure it's in a healthy state.

Saying that, regarding both the incident in qualifying and that 'boner-head' move in the race - seems no one saw Fenati in Moto 3 quail or Luthi on Espargaro in the Moto 2 race otherwise they would have expressed similar outrage.

I adore Mugello - together with Philip Island it ranks as the most spectacular and sublime settings and circuits to race motorcycles - but unlike P.I. it fails to consistently produce close racing.

loved lorenzos waving to the duc stand

this guy is class and knows how to deal with prick fans, lessons to be learned for casey!

oh wait, he already gave up....

hate to say it , but except for the occasional flash of brilliance (assen pole lap) he has not been the same.when the bikes perfect hes still up there. but what made me a fan of his was how he rode the .... out of nowhere near perfect bikes. it often seems like "ah ok the bikes not 100% and i have to race against jorge on a very good bike. no reason to get all worked up"

i've always defended stoner as for me there was really no good (!) reason to dislike him, being an awesome rider that didn't do dangerous stuff on track. guess he corrected that for me this weekend.had he retired at the end of last year i'd sing his praises as def. one of the best ever, this 2012 season kind of spoils it for me though....

getting a bit pissed of to be honest...2 of my all time favorite riders which should be the best on their brand of motorcycle just don't give it all at the moment.not what i tune in or attend to watch.

bradl is a miracle waiting to happen, mighty pissed off wanquez got the seat instead of him.

wheres baturro to offer some lame pro spain excuse about that, or how surprisingly small the crowd was

Lame is what Germany has done to produce world class riders. Apart from Bradl, when was the last champ? I have no clue, maybe his dad?

Germany, with all it's engineering prowess should be smoking spain!

Where is the small bore BMW moto 3 class in Germany? Would be an excellent way to get stuff going for ya Cliche! Let you suggest that to BMW and the Deutchland Motorrad Bund!

Bradl rode great, and progressing well. Bad luck he moved up to GP a year early, could have taken advantages of all the unforeseen circumstances this next year with Marquez.
<
Too bad he is in on a team and sponsorships would not allow for Marquez to transition through LRC Why didn't he stick around another year in Moto2? I think he was scared...Or knows he is a slower learner than the guy chasing him down last season.

Yeah I'm back ........, thanks for the essay.

Why were those fans pricks??

i'm sure lorenzo,of all people, has never been booed at mugello
<

come on , you know whats the deal and i'm 99% sure he didn't wave at exactly that grand stand just because they cheered him the loudest!

not generalizing fans here, but i'm sure i've heard reports that some people cheered at silvers when he crashed. its the nature of the fanatic to boo the enemy and cheer his demise

i won't continue arguing this here, you know my point and i'm not desperate enough to engage in an hour long senseless debate when i've got dinner waiting for me

later gents

yup its a shame in germany, its all been about cars.makes the few guys that make it look even better IMO

not sure what that has to do with me though.

come on, post sensible you make your good posts. its only the occasional wanquez pro spain stuff that annoys me
<

my fav rider is spanish, can't we all get along here?
