Huge win from Marquez. Whether he will follow on from this tomorrow and beyond, let’s see.
A real mixed bunch in terms of finishing positions from manufacturers which was great to see.
Pecco will be better tomorrow. Whether anyone has the pace to take it to Marquez remains to be seen. He likely had more in the bank if he needed it.

If that was a peak into what is to come, it will be as soul sapping as Verstappen's last season
Whilst that is possible, important to remember that due to the new track surface, Michelin (And Ducati, who feeds off on data) had limited tyre data this time around. Which allowed Marquez to use his skills to make a difference.

Which is also probably why KTM and Aprilia put on a stronger fight this time around (And Quartararo put on a hell of a fight, which he also did in previously data poor tracks such as India and Indonesia).

No doubt, Bagnaia and Martin will be pouring over Marquez’s data overnight. Let’s see if they’ll be able to use it to make a difference tomorrow.

That makes the Yamaha engine appalingly even worse if so. He was dumping Fabio out of the corners
Not so much the engine, Yamaha seemingly lacks mechanical grip (Which negates whatever power advantage they can get out of the engine) according to both riders.

This is one of the strongest points of the Ducati, dud tyre notwithstanding.

The Yamaha’s got a new fairing and swing arm winglets (Swinglets?) this week. Probably tested and validated last week in Misano.
Appears to me after the Sprint today that Fabio Q. is in the hunt but not gonna make it any further without a serious HP increase on that Yamaha !

As does Honda apparently and yes the gp24 is supposed to be the best.
Looking at that Ducati dropping the Yamaha if it was doing that with a dud tyre then the gap is immense.
