Good point - one which I totally forgot about!! I feel this is an advantage to Ferrari as they don't have to switch tyre makes like Renault, McLaren and others have to and this will play a HUGE part in the season. Definately something to watch out for and I suspect some form of cheating with the tyres in the future which could cause controversy.

yeah you have to believe the guys who have been running michalins are at a disadvantage, that looks very nice for Ferrari, but looking at how they went before shuey came along does anybody expect them to sink again after loosing him, afterall it is possible they could loose motivation and direction. I think this is unlikely but not impossible.

In my prediction the title race is gonna be Alonso and Raikonen, other guys (Massa, Button, both reanult guys, andmaybe even others) will be capable of winning races, but it takes a little mroe than that.

If the Mclarens up to it then Alonso is the superior driver, but if he starts struggling it will defeat him mentally, he started to show cracks this year when shuey chased him down and i think having a poor car would finish him off. Raikonen on the other hand is a robot, and seems to have a very very fast processor

I dont think the people at Ferrari will have motivation problems, they know what winning is and they want to dominate again. They were really crap when MS came, but he built a good team around him. Of course it wont be the same now he's not driving there anymore, but I dont think it should really cause any problems. And like said before, Ferrari will probably have an advantage cause they are already on Bridgestones.

So, assuming Ferrari will continue the way they did, both Kimi and Felipe will have great chances to challenge for the title. I have no idea what to expect of McLaren. If they'll have a good car, then for sure Fernando will battle for the title as well, but it really depends on the car. Honda and Renault may also win a few races. I think Renault will have a good car, like they had the last 2 years, but now they dont have FA anymore, that will make a difference. I don't rate Fisi that high, I used to, but I dont think he's really that good anymore. Heikki could very well beat him, he's also a very talented Finn, but of course he doesnt have the experience. Same goes for Hamilton. I actually think Lewis could be the next best thing, but he needs experience first, I do think he will surprise us at occasions though.

It will be kinda weird watching F1, cause since the moment I started watching F1 MS was driving, so it will be a bit strange, but I really can't wait for the new season. It should be one hell of a season!!!!

only 2 more months...

KIMI FOR THE TITLE
<

I didnt know lucky strike were going to pull out, i thought htose cars looked hot, what a shame.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CaptainSnow @ Jan 9 2007, 06:35 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Who will be Honda's sponsor?
BP Oil?

Would that work with Repsol sponsoring the MotoGP project?

Honda might be sponsored by 555 but i'm not 100% sure. I think they could just be keeping the same sponsors as last year.

They are rumored to go "green" with the car. Making it environmentally friendly somehow. So they might also go green with the paint scheme and the first comapny that comes to ind that is green and is trying to be exo-friendly is BP Oil.

Repsol and BP are diff companies just like F1 and MotoGP are different sports. Repsol is not at all affiliated with the F1 team.

Repsol isn't affiliated with the F1 Honda team but BP Oil is. They won't have a green car because that'll just look silly especially for a car which we've all known as white, black, red & olive. The GB Britain car colour scheme was originally green and Honda are Japanese right? That just wouldn't work.

I think what will probably happen the car will still be white but with green trim.. all green wouldn't look too good me thinks

I totally love it!!!!! I like this one better, now it's all red again.
Let's hope this car will win A LOT races this season

(and let it be KIMI..please.....)

No more Johnnie Walker for McLaren? It will be Vodafone now!
Boooo! I love me some Walker! and the chrome paint!!

The new F2007 rocks, let's just hope it can live up to it's expectation for Kimi and Felipe! Good job on the car I must say.

2007 Ferrari Damn sexy!!!

Maclaren will stay chrome, I suspect their main sponser Vodaphone will replace the Emirates slogan on the rear wing.
