They should both look at Repsol Honda at how to handle this situation. The incident between Nicky and Dani was far worse than that between Alonso and Hamilton, and they acted much more professionally.

We're slowly getting there...

They realized how boring F1 become, so they decided to spice it a little.

..and they're doing a very good job.

Some interesting opinions.

Tom do you want hamilton to win the title?

I've got to upset some of you and say that i'm more with burky on
this issue. Alonso waiting with the lollypop up was like a driver
on a slow down lap holding up one on a flyer or what schmacher did
at monaco. I was suprised the punishment did not put him down to
10th. I think the reason must be that there is a question of the
part played by the team with alonso saying the team held him.
Therefor it wasn't solely the drivers...

...control like in the other situations i mentioned. I also think the fia have far more information and knowledge on what actually happened than any of us so tend to back their judgement.

As for hamilton ignoring team orders. Did he cost alonso a lap or slow him down on a flying lap by not letting him by? This situation is obviously more complicated than alonso sitting in front of hamilton.

Oh. I'll just mention how enjoyable it was that massa suffered so badly at the weekend

NO, i think it will be better for him in the long run and better for the sport if he does not win this title.

I also think the FIA tend to know more than what they release and would tend to agree with them, but the spy row has reduced my faith in them to a new low. I'm still not convinced Alonso acted out of bad intentions, but i'm not mad about the punishment given because regardless of intentions he could have done better things in that situation.

I'm not being ignorant Tom, I'm telling you exactly how I saw it with my own eyes. Why should I believe press statements when human behaviour cannot hide feelings.

And hereby you confirm that in fact, you feel the same way as I do.

Don't believe everything you hear folks, there's big business involved.

The thing is this year, Ron Dennis has a very talented young British driver in his team, and RD is a very proud Brit. In the past RD has been able to conceal his emotions, but not this year.

Well for a start, Ron Dennis has confirmed that when he was seen angrily throwing his headphones around he was in fact angry with Lewis. When you judged earlier you thought it was pretty obvious he was angry with Fernando, a good example of how you can reach wrong conclusions easily by ignoring information provided to you.

Oh Tommy Tommy Tommy, please do give over. I'm in the US and maybe you didn't see what I saw, or you are blind. Anyway, I'm through with this silly little spat with you because you're showing your lack of life skills, and that's purely down to age, not ignorance.

I guess RD grabbing FA's chap by the back of the neck and marching him away, was also so that the message could be passed onto LH!!!

As a 20 year old student i will admit that i am still a wide eyed learner in the game of life. But my life skills are more than adequate today because this is too easy

Once again your comments have shown your ignorance in this instance, and happily i can see the value of an open mind when interacting with people. Not a lesson i needed but reinforcement of a belief i already carried. Hopefully next time we speak you are feeling more receptive.

I'm not a big fan of Bourdais, but he's overdue a chance at F1, good luck to him. It will be interesting to see how a modern Champ Car driver will do in F1, but he's certainly at the top end of the list when it comes to talent, he should do well. Good luck to him, he's gonna need it in an STR.

I'm not convinced to be honest, Champ Car is .....

I'm really curious to see him in F1!! Question is, what he can do in TR?? I would like to see him doing well!!!

So the FIA are ignorant too, well at least I'm on the winning side!

Keep reading them books Tom, it's good for you!

By the way, don't forget to go out once in a while.

You have clearly mis-understood me. I have no issue with the common opinion that Alonso is gulity. Whether or not he truly is guilty we will never know, but regardless He and Mclaren should learn from this and not allow it to happen again.

You should know by now that i often reach opinions that go against the grain, i am quite prepared to justify my opinions and i accept the possibility of me bieng wrong. My comments to you have been regarding the way in which you have gone about justifying your opinion. You reached a judgement before all possible knowledge of the situation was gathered (something i'm sure the FIA didn't do), you have refused to accept the possibility of yourself being wrong, and since the incident have reffered to a few of your finer judgements which have been shown to be wrong. Is the USA getting to you?

Good to see Lewis ahead of Fernando in Turkey.....again! It could just be an exciting race this weekend, the circuit actually lends itself to a bit of overtaking for those brave enough to have a go.

Better for Ferrari this weekend, nice to see Rosburg in the top 10 again, and well done to Anthony Davidson for getting 11th Spot.

Well, Im a Massa fan, so im clutching at straws this weekend. If he can't pull of the win tommorow, its bye bye championship chances.

Davidson was a bloody hero today! What a lap. He was really pushing the thing through turn 8, hope he can score some points tommorow.
