What a lap by Lewis at the end!

But how fast would Kimi have been without that big mistake at the end he would of had pole easily!

Should be a good race now as the ferraris wont be able to get away from the mclarens early on now!

For the championship i hope Kimi and Alonso do well but i like Lewis as well so i dunno! I would prefer it if Rubens won but it aint gonna happen!!!

Looking forward to a good race not a procession hopefully!

That was quite a good race, close fight for the win between Kimi and Alonso. Unlucky for Massa he stalled on the grid, still it made for some nice overtaking moves on track.

At least LH lost a bit of his advantage on FA and Kimi.

Well done Kimi and Alonso. They were simply better than Hamilton today.

Massa should be doing that well at a track where you can overtake but it was good to see some overtaking.

Disappointed honda didnt get some points, 9th and 10th for Rubens and Jenson they must have driven well although didnt see a lot of them except when being lapped!

YESSSSSSS!!!

for Massa, although I don't know if that .... before start was his fault maybe?!?!

Also, today we witnessed first (little) mistake so far from Lewis (pit stop).

Alonso was good as well.

That was brilliant, Kimi was the man today without a doubt. Alonso did all he could to take the fight but ultimately he was destined for second. Lewis had the 4th best pace all weekend and i would have enjoyed seeing what Massa would have had to say about the podium if started at the front. However i enjoyed his surge through the field even more exciting. It turns out silverstone is an excellent circuit for F1 racing.

I thought it was a typically dull F1 race - Massa cutting through the field wasn't exciting, it was like taking candy from a baby. The best bit of the day was Hamilton holding off Raikonen for a couple of laps before the 1st pit stop, after that it was boring.

I won't be watching the next race, that's for sure. (I've said that before but it was always drags me back in, must resist the temptation to avoid the predictable disappointment.)

I don't think the race was dull at all (it's F1, we shouldn't expect it to be like Moto). I was a bit disappointed by Hamilton's strategy today. I wasn't sure if he was gonna win, cause I already thought both KR and FA were heavier on fuel. When Kimi stayed behind him I knew Kimi would get good chances to win the race. For a moment I thought Alonso could spoil it, but after Nando's final stop it was clear the gap was too big for him to overcome. Good strategy by Ferrari, too bad for Massa, cause they might have gone for another 1-2, Ferrari had a strong car all weekend. Fernando did what he could and same goes for Lewis, I think 3rd place was maximum for him today. Also nice to see Massa fight his way back to the front (5th place, Kubica did a good job holding FM behind him).

Lewis is still leading the championship with 70 points, FA has 58 points, Kimi is now 3rd with 52 points, one point more than Felipe.

Next stop: GERMANY!! Can't wait!!!!

twas a great race, especially for KIMI!

if it was ipe's fault at the start, then at least he was able to rise from it. good driving Massa. (at least, schumi's mentoring him is paying off)

congratulations, Kimi! great driving.

Christ that was boring!

I got suckered into watching with all the Hamilton hype the british media are subjecting us to - wish I hadnt bothered now!

I'm trying to recall how racing was when they didnt have pit stops - coz that when the "overtaking" happened.

Yes Massa was entertaining - but as mentioned before, like candy from a baby - wonder what he could have done if the car/he hadnt of stalled.

I think Ferrari could have gone for a 1-2, but it wouldnt have been as easy as in France. Ferrari's race pace was very good last weekend, they were really fast, and Massa had a good strategy, so maybe they would have pulled off another 1-2. Guess we won't know for sure, but definitely a podium finish.

Those media creatures are going to make me hate the guy without his fault.
I'm happy he didn't win, not just because I'm Kimi fan, but because we skipped British media's collective orgasm... the Earth would shake!!

Maybe they should pull the starting positions out of hat, randomly. That would be interesting.

Yeah, definitely! I am now totally convinced it will be better for Lewis' career and for F1 in general if he is not the world champion this season.
