R Schumacher is a has been and so is Fisicella.

Talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.

What do you expect him to do in a Honda? The fact is its not a WC winning car and therefore we can't really tell his full potential.

Oh okay, so the car is crappy and all that. A few more races perhaps.

Or that this could also be for the team.

I think it's a bit unfair to say Jenson is overrated. He's a very good driver imo, but unfortunately for him, he never had a great car. He for sure had a good car in 2004, but let's be honest, that year Ferrari was just a couple of steps ahead, so can't blame him for not winning races that season. Last year he did a very good job imo, especially the last half of the season. We could only see his true potential if he had a winning car.

He really drove a poor race yesterday, but it's also pretty obvious to see that Honda isn't only looking ugly, they also perform below their standards. The question is, will Jenson ever drive a winning car in his further f1 career?? If not, then I guess we can't exactly say we ever saw his true potential, but then again, for how many drivers is that the case, cause there are a few top teams, and the rest basically sucks

Hopefully Honda will improve..

and the most silly thing about this all is that he's been with Honda for God knows how long and he still hasn't realsied he's not going to win with them, unless a miracle happens! He's got what it takes to win races, but he's not going to do it with Honda.

Hopefully, he'll realize that this year. and hopefully it's not yet too late

Button is overrated, the uk commentators seem to think he is as good as Alonso and Raikkonen which is just stupid.
I agree though that unless Honda seriously improve which looks unlikely, then Button will have to move team to have any chance of winning the world championship. But who would want him and would give him a chance of winning:

1. Ferrari - not a chance
2. McLaren - not a chance
3. Renault - maybe, they need to replace Fisi and Heikki didn't look that great but he needs a bit of time.
4. BMW - Heidfeld will stay, he's german and Kubica looks like a future champ.
5. Williams - should he have actually gone there? they won't win a race though never mind the championship.

Maybe Button should move to Super Aguri, more chance of a win with them than the honda team hes with at the mo.

If Button was especialy good he'd driving a decent car by now. He by no means a bad driver but he doesn't exactly drive as if the car is holding him back. Davidson is an example of how to drive an slow car well enough to look like a good driver. In my opinion Button is the worst driver of the British selection.

Just to add insult to injury if he wants to be remembered as a great driver he should start by not trying to uphold the Eddie Irvine image off the track.

I prefer both Hamilton and Davidson to Button already. I don't really like Coulthard though...there's just something about him

<u>Kimi: "We've started with the best foot forward."</u>

Kimi Raikkonen has admitted that he didn't expect to win on his debut with the Scuderia in Australia, the opening round in the 2007 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

Speaking a few days after his victory in Melbourne and after his success had sunk in a bit more, the Finn reiterated though that it wasn't an easy win, even though he led from start to finish and dominated the whole weekend, comfortably getting the better of his nearest rivals, McLaren duo Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.

"I've never hidden my joy, since the first day I came to Maranello," said Kimi. "Now, after the success in the first race with the team, I am - in case this is possible - even more joyful.

"When I signed my contract with Ferrari I thought that it would be nice to win as soon as possible, but in Melbourne it came even faster than expected, when I managed to win in my first race with the Prancing Horse.

“I have never in my whole career won the opening race of the season and that was something that gave me a whole lot of satisfaction.

"When you start to race for a new team, you try to be successful as soon as possible and to manage to do that on the day of the debut means that you couldn't' be any better. In a certain sense last winter's dream came true. Ferrari and I really started with the best foot forward: victory, pole position and fastest lap in the race.

“From the outside it might have seemed an easy race, but as I already said on Sunday afternoon at the press conference, it was not easy at all. There are no easy victories.

"We had some minor problems in Melbourne, the biggest of which was the malfunctioning of the radio, caused by a plug defect. It all began as soon as I got into the car on the grid: from there on I could not communicate anymore with the pitwall. Fortunately we had planned the race down to minute detail and I just concentrated on this program over the 58 laps.

“We knew that the start was crucial: I gave my all to hold the position I had conquered the day before and I succeeded.

"Once ahead of the pack after the first turn, things became slightly easier, although I could not communicate with my engineer Chris Dyer. We knew that our rhythm in the race was very competitive: I did not have to go to the limit, but maybe if the radio had worked I would have gone faster.

“On one occasion - just about ten laps before the end the race - I almost fell asleep! I got distracted, my concentration levels dropped a bit and I blocked the wheels and took turn number 3 slightly too wide: even without radio I knew that they were saying: 'Kimi, wake up!'.

“The team had lots to do keeping me informed with the display boards. A couple of times I couldn't see them, because it was difficult to distinguish them from the ones of the other teams.

"When I passed the chequered flag it was a really emotional moment and it was fantastic to celebrate together with the boys from the pitwall. It was a moment I would never have missed for anything in the world.

I know that but he is as close as a current F1 driver will come...possibly excluding Hamilton!
