<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Franco Fangio @ Mar 15 2007, 09:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Exactly!!!!
Schumacher is way more talented than Kimi. Kimi is...well..he's a great driver imo, but I also think he's not as determined as Michael for example. Kimi is a bit lazy when it comes to developing. I wish he wasn't, cause if he would care about that, it would make him even better. And he's already kinda good I would say. I do not doubt kimi's desire to win. Its just that he's lazy when it comes to developing. I wish he would change that..
If only he had Hakkinen by his side at all times telling him what to do.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Alex @ Mar 15 2007, 10:40 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>He could indeed, and this is why this is turning into a good debate. If Raikkonen really tried as hard as possible to help set up the car then he'd win the world championship no-matter what, Alonso wouldn't get near him, but the type of person he is doesn't allow him to do this so he's going to find it harder to win.
yep...

I really really wish he would care about it more, but I guess he's just who he is. I still like him very much though.
That's why I also think FA is the more complete one. He's obviously very talented, otherwise he wouldnt have won 2 titles, but he's not as lazy as kimi.
I think it will be hard for kimi to win the title this year. He not only has to beat FA, but also his teammate. It won't be easy..

I've just thought, Raikkonen has crashed out a fair few times in the past and a lot have been from mechanical/car problems. If he had taken more time to help set the car with then maybe a few of these problems wouldn't of occured and maybe he'd of felt more comfortably with the car.

Well if you take Hockenheim 2005 that was actually a Raikkonen .... up that at first appeared to be Mercedes fault. If I remember rightly the team explicitly told Raikkonen to take it easy with practice starts, and he ignored them, and did some damage to the driveshaft. The inevitable then happened.

Ferrari's looking strong, especially Massa is doing a very good job.
Obviously it's only testing, tonight is the quali. I can't wait!!!
Who do you guys think will take the 1st pole position of the 2007 season???? Will it be Massa or will it be Alonso. Or will we see a real shock??

I have no idea whats gonna happen. Alonso wil take pole but not win the race i reckon.

Honda must be very concerned.

Their two cars were slower than their second team Super Aguri Cars!

I know Barrichello had a crash and lost quite a bit of time coz of it but still Button is no higher!

Also Kovaleinen was very slow anyone know why?

Yeah man, it's indeed a bit worrying (to say the least!!!)
I hope for their sake they can sort it out, cause this is just sad.
I do think they will do better during the race though.

I hope they do as being English even though i do not support Jenson i like seeing him do well.

Barrichello and Hamilton are my favourite drivers.

I've always liked Rubens Barrichello. Imo he's a good and solid driver and also a really nice guy!! I think he used to be really good, before he came to Ferrari. Of course he did a good job at Ferrari, but I think playing 2nd fiddle to MS all those years ruined his further career somehow. After that, he just wasn't the same..unfortunately!

I like Lewis!!! He's my 2nd favourite driver this year. I already liked him when he drove GP2. Have you also seen some of the GP2 races? I think he did a great job there. Hopefully he will do a good job in F1 as well, but it will be hard this season..

I started supporting Rubens in about 1995 along with Damon Hill and when Hill left Barrichello was my driver.
He was great but joining Ferrari hasn't benefited his career in the long run.
I hope that this year we will see the old RB and not like last year just picking up the lower points positions.

Hamilton - I can't wait to see him race, the expectations of him in the UK are quite high though among F1 fans after his GP2 masterclasses. Not expecting too much this season just some podiums and maybe challenging Alonso a couple of times would be a successful debut season for him i think.

Yes man, I agree!!
It's true that a lot people have these high expectations now, especially in the UK. I hope he will be able to handle the pressure. I personally think he can. That guy is really talented. I'm sure we will see him on the podium this season.

DAMN..I'm soooo excited!!!! I can't wait for the race!!

I always love those ''night GPs''.
I have to watch both the quali and race live, so yeah, I'm going to watch it together with my brother!!
What bout you then??

Definitely the race wasn't sure about quali but it was quite exciting last year so i suppose i will be!!!

I hope Honda are just sandbagging, because that really is rediculous. Jenson must be so pissed off right now, not sure I can blame him either. Theres no excuses for Honda now, they have the experience, they have the resources, they should be doing alot better.

Raikkonen could also be sandbagging, who knows. Maybe he just doesn't want Massa to know how quick he really is? Either way, I'm loving this battle between the Ferrari drivers.

I actually have a feeling that Hamilton might get pole. It's just a feeling. Then again, its the same feeling I had about Fisichella this time two years ago, and he went and won the race, you never know.

Weather could be a spanner in the works here, then its anybodies race.

Agreed, this is actually my favourite GP of the year. Theres jsut something about getting up at night to watch the first race, a different kind of atmosphere. Maybe its cos ive been doing it for ten years and its like a ritual now, but I love it. Parents think im mental though

Some rain would liven it up!
It says sunny, but I wouldn't trust weather forecasts. Melbourne is known by Aussies for very changeable weather conditions so we could be in for a treat.
