Dani Pedrosa?

and this is why i dont like stoner, he blames everybody but himself.
he could just admit he was learning the limits, but no he has to imply honda someone kept altering his bike without his knowledge, total bollocks. so why was it just him then ? did the big H have something against him ?
he forgets we all watched what was happening, no throttle control on the 990. thank god for tc on the 800 duc. damn i was at valencia last year and saw him crash in the warm up then again in the race, i suppose someone sneaked in and altered is bike in that short space of time.,
<
<

anyway, i thought this thread was about pedrosa

Roge...Poor Casey
<
he cant win either way!!! What does the man have to do to convince you all???
<
...Oh I know win the 2007 WC'p...oh but that wont convince any body??? Poor Casey!!! Or may be Casey should let Rossi win the WC'p in 2007 that will be OK!!!

Dani will be the number 1 HRC rider next year, everyone else including the KY Jelly Kid (aka the Hick), will get parts after Dani...and Dani with Puig will lead all development. Number 2 Honda rider will be Dovi not Nicky, remember that since Honda owe Dovi for not supporting him fully this year.

So does Colin gets parts after Rossi? If that's the case i assume the best rider will of course get the best parts, no?

Gee...where is Stoner..whats going on with him.. I think Stoner is afraid of DP. IF DP gets the tires to compete with bridgestoners then i think DP will start to win over him just like in the 125s and 250s.
I agree that the TC on the duc is helping Stoner stay on the bike. If all of you would look at the free practice videos you would see what im talking about. I think Stoner is right behind DP on talent.

so pedrosa finally signs... what's the reason for the hold-up? bridgestones?

there... you've answered your own question.

so pedrosa finally signs... what's the reason for the hold-up? money? bridgestones? smaller bike? tighter skivies?

Initial rumours about him not resigning with honda was during the earlier veriosn of the bike which was not competitive. the current versios seems as fast as the Ducati and handles well underbraking. So, it seems like honda has improved the bike a lot. Tires are rumoursed to be the reason for the recent delay. But, he finally signed before Bridgesotne said no to HRC. Or, its possible they already said No and HRC never told hikm till he signed. Nevertheless he really wanted to be on those Bridgestones..

Now, will the works Honda and Yamaha team who will be on Michelins next season get screwed again by the bridgetone clad machines?

You must smoke rocks. Casey has more talent in his little finger than Dani has in his whole body.

Dani is only good when his celebrity needs are met. He revealed to me that the reason he lost is because he didn't get a bowl full of green M&M's before the race. True story.

The rain is a good measure of his "talent". He goes so slowly, he may as well ride with an umbrella. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted for him to high side and land face down in a puddle.

He reminds me of Disney's Pinocchio. "Please Mr. Gepuigo, I want to be a real racer!"

Rain is not a good measure, some riders are better than it in others. And it requires different skills etc.

So CV and Melandri are better than Stoner eh?

Take a look at where Stoner was last year without the right package. He used to crash so much people started calling him Crashey Stoner. And look at where Rossi is today without the right set-up. My point being every rider needs the right package/setup to bring out the best in them. And what is so wrong with that? It doesn't mean their riding skill sucks! Take a look at Stoner today. With the ducati + bridgestone package, it brings out the best in Stoner that we've never seen before. I guess if Stoner never made that switch to ducati, we will never get to see the great ability that's hidden inside him. Instead we will still be calling him Crashey Stoner.

I'm pretty sure Casey is using more than his little finger to ride, his ducati looks to be quite a hand (5 fingers) full.

That's MY point. Dani's been all out of excuses for 1.5 seasons. Casey gets what he wants and he walks off with it. So how does that help your assertion that Dani is skilled.

Even Hayden can win a world title............on a DEVELOPMENT bike.
<

I'm not pissed Pedro is faster, he's supposed to be. Honda bought him to sit in the tiny RC212V's cockpit.

I care that he gets preferential treatment over the reigning world champion. That's what pisses me off. Dani scores more points with me when he actually works to get a result. Opposed to not crashing the best bike to the top of the podium, which is his claim to fame.

Rossi's season is just as rotten as last year through 14 rounds, and Pedro still can't make a move. Dani's no better than anyone else, but he is smaller and he's got powerful friends.

Dani is awesome, he's a much better rider than Casey, he can actually pass people for one, & he's a battler & provided some much needed excitement last weekend.

Stoner, you just wind him up, put him on the track & he goes, like clockwork! He's not a racer, he's a joke. A joke that is undeservedly on the brink of winning a world title, what a sad state of affairs!

At least Dani won titles in the lower classes.

Sure no excuses for Dani. Tyre problems, crashes, Rdp, blah, blah, and still manages a third in the standing. Oh btw, where does the world champion stand in the championship position? So much for being skillful heh!
<

Anyway, i don't buy the story Dani gets preferential treatment. Who are you btw, the HRC top mechanic?
<

I don't get how riders like Hopkins, Vermeulen, Melandri, Edwards and Capirossi can be ahead of the world champion in the standings. Do they all get preferential treatment too i suppose?
<

Dani struggles his way through the season and you said he's not working hard. What about Hayden, i don't see any hard work coming from him all season except last race. And let's not get to how he won the championship, the story never ends.
Stop being a sour grape and give Dani some credit.

The jury is still out Dani! Quick all weekend and when its wet you went backwards and eventually crashed! Anyway, looks like you'll get the bridgestones you want next year.

Doing some zen gardening are you, Dani?

Let me get you a rake, so you can put everything back the way it was.

This convo is over. Hayden 1 world title, Pedro 0.

Someday it will probably change, but today I gloat for America.

The flip side of that is that Dani has scored more points than Hayden in the time they have shared in motogp, and you cant argue with that.
