Yeah when I heard that, I thought the rules says automatic devices not allow????

I also thought automatic ride height devices were illegal, but it must be GPS based devices or something. Aprilia's system allegedly uses lean angle, fork position, throttle, etc to determine the optimal time to raise/lower the bike. It must be legal because the riders were mentioning it publicly.

Aleix uses the manual system because he doesn't like the auto system, which is optimized for lap time, but may not suit every rider's style.

Side note but Dorna need to ensure that if they are going to make use of the long lap penalty, they should at least make sure it is safe to do so.

Sure one could say that riders had done this but Jack Miller has said he nearly fell and unless there is valid cause why the gravel is there I can see why. If this was someone rejoining earlier than 'luck of draw', else it should be swept between races as a minimum and interestingly, if this debris was on the track there would likely be flags (ie. lack of adhesion flag)

Culprit/s found - marshall's and Mir

Long lap penalties and other nonsense penalties like grid position penalties have no place in racing. Period.

Egregious behavior should be rewarded with a black flag or other form of disqualification.

Keep it simple.

Other areas of life are also increased legislated with behavior rewards and penalties.

......... Life is messy, deal with it.

Absolutely prefer to watch people race.
A penalty system that penalises their position but still allows them to race is far preferable than just removing them from the track for any range of indiscretion.

Well at least Mir trying to get back in the race, don't know how far he would have got, that front tire looks like it took a beating.

Yes, Zarco has developed a mature consistency towards the front, if not at it. A manufacturer has to like it when a rider is not consistently throwing the bike down the road.

I am a Fabio fan and it’s been great seeing him develop. He is much more media savvy now and it’s great to see the enthusiasm. For the moment he’ll have to pick and choose his moments when the Yamaha is capable of letting him do his thing. Otherwise he generally doesn’t lose his head and brings the bike home in the points.
I am enjoying the way Fabio is taking it to the rest of the field too. Particularly how he is matching and beating the Ducatis, that appear to be a better bike overall.

I miss watching Marquez, I have become a huge fan, largely on how he withstood and dominated in spite of the yellow nonsense.

Fabio is bloody good to watch though, and is definitely helping me stay well interested [emoji41]
