Motegi was a great example of the change in Casey's attitude... ride to win when possible & if not, keep it rubber side down & get as many points as you can = World Championship.
A wonderful formula that he discovered really... it's worked really well in the past for hmmm, let's see... Hayden, Rossi, Roberts Jnr, Criville, Doohan, Schwantz, Rainey, Lawson, Gardner, Spencer, Roberts Snr, Sheen etc, etc, etc.

Dani's mistake was not coming into the pits (and that goes for all of the top 4 INCLUDING stoner) it was a stupid move on everyone's behalf, not that it mattered to casey in the end mind, but as dani says in his interview its all well and good looking at it with hindsight but being there at the time is different. they all wait for each other.

didn't look like a tc problem that caused the crash. he seemd to highside going into the corner not out of it, maybe he touched a white line or as someone said up there, the thing may have seized

TC does NOT stop highsides. Look at Melandri at Misano. TC does what you "program" it to do - it is not a panacea. Oh, and it makes the racing less about the rider and more about the calibrator. Ban it.
