Colin's Beemer

what i want to know is why they are spending so much time with the complete rsv4 package? when they build their own frame, it will probably completely change the characteristics of the bike, unless they feel that the standard rsv4 frame is adequate, and plan to reverse engineer it and stick an aspar logo on it??

maybe they are just flogging the guts out of the engine at the moment to see what it can do, but then again, why wouldnt they test it on a bench?

can anyone shed any light on this?

The only mention of modifications I've seen is that the chassis is covered in duct tape, and people who are at the test are saying it's to cover up the chassis mods. SBK is allowed to modify the chassis though so no telling what is exactly going on with the bike.

Does anyone know if RDP has been officially signed. The Aprilia is only on it's second outing and already doing much better. I think they wont have any problems mixing it up with the satalite teams at some point next season. They still have 20lbs to take off the bike and more chassis and suspension work.

From what I've gathered at MotoMatters, he's still not signed.

Randy is running out of options, its gone quiet on the Kawasaki WSBK rumour as well.C`mon Randy, get yu sig on there,Colin bit the bullet so you`re not alone.

It has to be Aspar for DePuniet. CRT is being part of the future, WSBK is being part of the past.

My understanding is it's more a question of when rather than if.

Man, I bet CEII is having flashbacks

The Aprilia WSBK based bike might be quicker than the Pramac Duc's anyway.

I'm really pleased RDP is still in MotoGP.
