Don't see what's so funny, I mean that's what's being a fan is all about isn't it? Believing in the guy you support through good times and bad, and when things aren't going well, firmly believing that an upswing is just around the corner?

Beliveing and hoping your guy can get through his problems is one thing, to predict him as a winner when he's far down the lists in free practice and all races so far is just very unrealistic and a bit amusing.
But then again I think it's a bit sad Hayden don't do better so that take away from the fun part.

Nicky is on pace according to the FP3 timesheet, but I don't if that was a blip or a consistent pace.

So Jumkie maybe right....

Nicky vs Stoner vs Rossi vs Pedros for the win...Pedrosa will take out Nicky, so that leaves Stoner and Rossi fighting for the win!

Nothing would be better if he could take over Jorges place and make it a four way fight

i think stoner will runaway but rossi will cut through the pack like a hot knife through butter...

2. Definitely not Lorenzo
after today's result that's not beyond the realms of impossibility.

------

Stoner for the win, he's back on form with his Duc. He wants it badly.
Podium struggle very uncertain with Hondas, Yamahas and Suzukis all competitive.
Rossi is starting way back, it will be difficult to cut through the pack as everybody seems to be fast on this track!

that's true but i would not bet money against him. even when he starts on the front row he normally drops back to this position for a couple of laps.
laverty was saying its near impossible to get a set up here this weekend. he said you get a good set up then when you go back out its all changed. i think rossi was more looking for a race set up than a poll position but his little run off caused him to start further back than planned. that's what i think anyway but im a fanboy you know.

Among us fanboys, I think it was more comlicated than the runoff. He swithced bikes after two bad qulifiers and 10 min to go. That can't be a planned action. I guess there was soemthing wrong with his #1 bike and he had to do the switch at the end. To set a qulifier time on a different bike with only a few laps on it can be difficult.

i think this track could do with a bit of money spending on it.

You are correct. Its called "diehard rooting" IfI'm wrong, then its just a bad prediction (if you notice ove half the people on here never predict the winner correctly, eh. But if he comes through, then that kinda makes me a genius. All up swing and nothing to lose. (To my credit, I posted my prediction when Nicky was only managing to beat West on the practices, but now hes third, not bad). Oh and keep in mind I do have Stoner (pole) and Rossi 9th (who would have thought) on my predicitons, so not so bad eh.

Yeah but Eugene isn't the best reference to setup given the prehistoric chassis that was unearthed for him this season.

1. Stoner
2. Dovi
3. Hayden

Hayden crashes in WUP and pretty much chucks his confidence. Pedrosa has problems. Rossi cruises into a distant 4th. Edwards can't seem to get a rhythm. He and Vermeulen dice for 5th.

BORING

Not bad at all Jumkie, I did notice you predicted him before he got the setup right, and I wont be worse, If not Rossi I'll root for Hayden. Wouldnt it be interesting to see what happens if Hayden is first and Pedrosa second in the final stages? Team orders anyone?
