Quartararo's Yamaha held up really well at the end of the race. Would have been interesting if the two factory Yamahas (and Dovi) weren't taken out so early on and possibly stopped Marc from checking out.

Conserved his tyres on the Yamaha better than both Petrucci and Rins did on bikes that have shown to be pretty good on tyre conservation. Far too early to know if Vinales or Rossi could’ve kept the pace of Marquez.

Watching Petrucci park in the corners was frustrating. I’ve always wondered if Dovi’s strategy of slowing the race up could result something like we just saw. Obviously that wasn’t the case this time.

When the brain cools down, despite huge deflation and disappointment, I can't really hate Lorenzo. With his new tank and new seat - he was looking really amazing at the beginning and doubtless was excited to be at the front for the first time in the season. It's easy to say he was trying to win the race in the first laps, but really, who isn't? While he hasn't "mastered" the Honda, it sure as hell looked like he'd made a huge leap forward. He just got way overconfident.

That said . . . I'd still like to kick his ass.

That was an easy exciting two laps.

Don't get the hate on Lorenzo, seems mostly from Rossi supporters/Marquez haters. He made an error, compounded by Dovi checking up a bit, and that's how .... happens. Great ride by Quartararo, totally earned that podium. Petrucci showing consistency. Marquez = GOAT in waiting.

Yeah, Vinales looked deadly in those opening laps which is strange for him.

They spoke about it on the Aus telecast they said that Lorenzo didn’t have anywhere to go in the end. Couldn’t pickup the bike to miss Dovi because of where Vinales was.

Lorenzo looked to be making a move on Vinales, who looked like he ran wide to avoid Dovi as well. Just an accident caused by a .... corner.

All of you clowns criticizing Lorenzo needs to see the over head shot. Dovi trigger the accident, yes it is Lorenzo fault failing to control his bike. He accepted fault when interviewed by Crafar!

Now that the facts are out of the way. Time to feed the trolls....

That's Lorenzo pay back to both yamaha & ducati for not supporting him. Take that ..................

With Vinales though he either seems to go well at the start and drop off towards the end or .... up his start and have pace at the end. So you never know.

Fabio showed more pace than either over the weekend but as we know the satellite teams tend to get outlasted by the factory guys come race day.

I really don't know what the problem of some guys here. Some absurd I have read:

- It's Dovi fault.
- Lorenzo made on purpose.
- Championship was already over.

It was not Dovi fault, Jesus Christ, what are some of you smoking? It doesn't deserve a comment anyway, MM overtake Dovi breaking really late, in fact Dovi backed off a bit to avoid contact, MM got wide in the corner after where Dovi would enter inside overtaking again. Lorenzo thought he could enter too.

Lorenzo was over his limit with the bike. He does not made it on purpose, obviously, he is a very correct person in this regard, but he was crazy to proof his new ergonomic pieces had worked and was clearly much over his limit.

I don't think MM would lost this WC to Dovizioso, the Rubens Barrichelo of moto, but title was very far from being over. MM could fall, the new Honda engine could "blow" (causing issues on the bike), etc... many things can happen over the course of the championship. Even now the WC is far from being over, albeit I really doubt Dovi will have the motivation needed to push over the limits towards the title.

Marquez is racing alone this year, all he needed was a bit better machine to dominate the class and so that's it. At least we have hope for next year to get back to exciting times, Fabio Quartararo. I wish Yamaha could sort out the rest of its problems, even helping Rossi that is the only one capable of disturbing MM psyche. With a 1 sec faster machine, Rossi can fight for the win some weekends and this would cause a massive shake up in the sport, surely affecting MM's head.

I feel sorry for Ducati not having an alien rider, not even in the insight. But instead of wasting their life looking for another MM/Stoner, it would be better they make their bike turn a bit more. GP15 seems to have hit its top, maybe now it's time for a revolution again, specially in the engine layout. This surely would widen the list of new possible aliens. A desmodromic inline 4 would be very nice to hear, who knows.

What a disappointing crash to witness... especially when Yamaha seemed to have some serious pace for the race. If Quartararo could make second, then I'm quite sure Vinales could have done better and MM would have had some stiff competition for the race. Of course, I'm not at all downplaying Quartararo's performance/result. Good on him!!

Although Petrucci was fabulous in Mugello. I don't think that he's one to pull that sort of performance out of himself weekend after weekend. I'm pretty sure Dovi could have done better as well.

It's interesting to watch how Lorenzo has systematically had to deal with the psychologic burden of going through the very experiences with pace and incidents that he would so criticise other riders for, especially Rossi. It'll be good for him in the end. I'm also happy to see that the ergo improvements on his Honda machine seems to be working for him.

You are just being stupid. .... it, who knows what will happen with 12 races left.

I can see 8 that have MM stamped all over them, Assen, Sashenring, Brno, Aragon, Chang, Motegi if it doesn't rain, Philip Island and Valencia.
So lets presume he fails in 2, there's nobody who can catch him.
Dovi is making to many mistakes and I'll tell you why I think that is, he's married with a baby.

Bang out of order pal, you know fxxk all about a riders mind set !

You couldn't make it up that the only one to not get wiped out on the 1st lap banzai undertake by Lorenzo was Marquez!!!
He's on borrowed time trust me.

I've been involved with motorcycle racers since 1988 and can tell you now they are some of the most selfish people you'd never wish to meet...
The're mind set is 'the world owes them a living'
