Casey tells Rossi to 'stop whinging'

If I recall GP250 correctly, Pedrosa and Stoner were on comparable bikes and Pedrosa used to stick it to him all day long. And last year, Stoner spent most of his time lying in the dirt face down. Wonder what made him the best rider this year?

Scarey...you’re really.... SCAREING ME LOTS...Mate!!!... And Pedrobot and Stoner were on comparable bikes...You have to be kidding Me Scarey!!!...As a matter of a fact you’re scaring me LOTS Scarey!!!...what a ridiculous statement!!!...Please mate read Casey’s interview about Pedrobot’s & Casey’s experiences in the 250cc class!!!...Well I say NO More in motoGP!!! ..And “Wonder what made him the best rider this year?” well I’ll tell YOU WHAT!!!...”It’s Called”...Casey was on a “.... House Bike”...and now that he’s on a factory bike (like Pedrobot WAS!!!)...well I say NO MORE!!!...And if you know anything about racing then your statements, comments would have never been made!!!... When did JB say this?

When Rossi brought the bike back to the Yamaha garage after falling off at the last race of the season 06 JB did nt even make eye contact with Rossi He went straight to the bike! When Rossi was clearly disappointed. And then i see Uccio standing in as Umbrella boy!! when JB is usually beside Rossi to ensure a media free environment.

I need a Yamaha uniform so i can go undercover for the day and see whats really going on between these two.

I hope its not mutiny on JB's part, Aussie and all.

Butterfly.t...JB has been through all this B/S before...mate...JB is the most experienced team, technical, manager that’s going around..ever in 500cc/motoGP!!!...How I wish JB would be the team manager for Ducat and Caseyi!!! As they will really need JB in 2008!!!...JB you’re a genius, a LEGEND mate!!!...and I’m not being one sided here!!!

If I, and I bet every single one of you guys too, were Stoner, and I was leading Rossi by 44 points, I'd be getting as many digs in as I could. Any of you who wouldn't? C'mon! Of course you'd take a pop at the guy. Stoner is well deserving of having a go at Valentino, he's earned it fair and square, Rossi knows it too.

Would I be cocky enough to have 'digs' at a seven time world champion based on half a season's good performance in my second year in the premier class? No.

It’s NOT about having digs or whatever else you young guys can manipulate and dig the English vocabulary to....but I say that Casey’s performance in 2007 and it doesn’t matter if he wins or doesn’t win the world championship!!!It’s been about prominence just like the greats... “Kenny snr, Freddie Spencer’s performances in taking over the world championship...but the only thing is that Casey is showing the “Old Timers” how it should really be done!!! (Sorry to quote this, but in my experience and I’m going back to watching the 750cc (Kawasaki’s, 500cc’s & the motoGP’s) I have never seen a racer like Casey’s ride at Laguna!!!...Sorry and please I’m very objective and if Casey or any Australian wouldn’t have done as well as they are doing so far in 2007 “I would be there #1 CRITIC...and I’d be bagging them heaps!!!)...
Sorry boys and please there is NO USE in being arrogant, ignorant like our fellow brothers... Jazkat and there are many more like him on this forum!!!...“Jazkat and the rest”...you just don’t know!!!...

2001 Honda
2002 Aprilia
2003 Aprilia
2004 Honda
2005 Honds
2006 Aprilia
2007 Aprilia so far

I'm pretty sure that Aprilia and Honda are very very comparable.

So if we consider the bikes comparable, do we take into account the teams that provide the equipment? A full factory effort for Dani in every year of competition. Sticking it to Stoner all day long implies that Pedrosa beat Stoner whenever he pleased which is simply not true.

Also the 250 argument is redundant as both riders are in a different class now. Some riders are simply able to adjust 'better' to a step up. We've seen plenty of examples of riders who have won world championships yet struggle at the very top. Dani Pedrosa is a fantastic rider with an equally amazing record in the smaller classes and I think he will be world champion in MotoGP, it just not a foregone conclusion that a successful rider in the lower classes will be so at the top.

I think you will actually find that Aprilia make a marginally superior 250, all those years that Honda came out on top they required the help of a truly remarkable rider. Stoner has no excuse.

I think you will find both riders in motogp on factory equipment. They have both rode near faultless seasons so far and are the only two guys capable of taking it to Rossi. I think they are in the same class indeed.

No Tommy and please I don’t want to go on with this and sound, be accused of all sorts “like I am}...But Casey is so much superior to Dani that it’s getting to be ...“embarrassing” and they are so far apart that’s getting to a stage where it’s not even comparable, compatible anymore!!!...And Mr. LEGEND Valentino Rossi has “ONLY ONE” opponent...or should we say Casey has only one slight opponent in 2007...and that is Mr. Valentine Rossi....but Tommy Casey is +44 points and really I can’t see Val catching his lead in 2007 if Casey rides like he did at Laguna...Sorry but I am trying to be subjective, objective etc etc...and please I have loved val over the years and he’s a great past champ but I can’t see Val catching Casey in 2007...or can be compared in 2007!!!,,lolxxx Sorry brothers!!!

Well when people mention Pedrosas small class superiority you (and others) come out with an endless list of excuses, yet Pedrosa is allowed nothing? Its not entirely fair. I will tell you that Casey has ridden better than Dani this year, but Dani has ridden better than Casey for the previous 5 years. Next year may or may not be a different story. My point is that its foolish of you to claim that stoner is currently significantly superior to Dani regardless of circumstances when you will not conceed the same about the past. i think Dani was the better rider in the small cassses and Casey is currently the better motogp rider, but untill Casey makes this advantage over Dani last at least another year i will still consider Dani the better rider to this point in their careers.

Oh, I meant a different class as in 125, 250, 800. So I was referring to the move for both riders from 250 to MotoGP. They are in a different class from 2005, not that they are a different class of rider.

If Dani`s honda was as well developed as the duke Ithink that DP and CS would be alternating the top step regularly, the bike is all that is stopping DP from showing his true potential.Thats coming from a Stoner fan who admired his spirit from the LCR days, hell, there isn`t much between them in reality.

Tom consider it settled in 2008...as I'm SURE that Casey Is BETTER!!! And please I'm not being bias here!!! But Dani over the last 5 years had a “Dani (David) & Goliath’ advantage!!!...If you know what I mean!!!...
Sorry mate but Dani comes from a totally different background than Casey did and I’m talking about Dani’s background...Let’s compare...

Casey came to Europe with .... all money he was a poor, lived in the back of whatever yards, he raced on the barest of minimum’s etc etc...and Dani came through the whatever academy was and got the best...sponsors, best rides best team etc etc...This is JUST for starters!!!

Casey will always outride Dani!!!...Do YOU KNOW WHY!!! Cause Casey has the Aussie mongrel dog in HIM!!! But Dani is his MUNGREL!!! And Casey is the pedigree Dog here!!! It’s as simple as that...and what I mean by this is this is....

Casey was subjected to Dani’s dangling of the carrot, bone etc...throughout the 125cc, 250cc Dani got all the good gear for all those years and there is no way in this world that Casey will let Dani beat him on the factory gear, and/or on the same equipment!!!...You mark my words on this!!!...It’s the Aussie mongrel spirit!!! It's like the Rooster fights in Thailand...'You Starve one and Feed The Other" and see what happens...but the starved one is Casey & he's OBSSESED!!! Dani you haven’t got a chance!!!

And that’s how every Aussie had to do it in the 500/motoGP in Europe!!!..or whereever!!!

What a load of rubbish, their equipment has been laregly equal, maybe alightly in Casey's favour. And both riders started their 125 careers under Puig's wing with Telifonica bikes, so its been pretty fair.

Obviously you're smoking Casey's pole. Take Casey off the Duc and replace him with Dani or VR, they'd be in 1st this season because those two are just as good if not better than Stoner. Get off Casey's .... and take those blinders off buddy.

The one advantage I can admitt Pedrosa having in 250 must be his waight. But then, Stoner isn't exactly your average beer belly red neck either.

Drill....I’m not lost for words at all...I haven’t been on the forum...and please!!!...I’m not stirring the pot at all mate! I’m only outlining certain posts and I’m definitely not saying that all posts are!!!...I enjoy reading most 99% but the other 1% are the ones that really leave me “gobsmacked” as you would say!!! That is all nothing more and nothing less...
And Drill by you saying this “Thats coming from a Stoner fan who admired his spirit from the LCR days, hell, there isn`t much between them in reality”...

I totally agree with you mate!...but I’m really getting sick of this...“yes but Dani was the superior rider in the 125’s, 250 days”....

How could it have been when Dani was on works Honda rides and Casey was on a KTM which was a new team to the 125’s and in the 250’s Casey was on the LCR that wasn’t a factory team. This year both riders are on the “Ridgy-Didge” (aussie slang for: original, genuine)...so no excuses...that the Honda is this, the Michelins are this....it’s all even, and if you read Casey’s interview on speed...and I quote casey’s words...

” don’t know what the real HRC stuff is like. They were always telling me last year that I was on the same stuff as Dani and Nicky but now I see that was a whole load of crap. There is no way that they give the same stuff to the satellite teams that the factory team has and it is the same thing with the other companies providing products. They tell you, ‘you are on the same this and that,’ but it is just not true and now I can see that from the outside because, like I said, my bike changed from session to session and it wasn’t anything to do with anything the team was doing. The team was doing a great job, but it was the companies playing around”...

Drill this is what I have been saying and have known for years mate...classic examples of the past are: Agostini, Spencer when Freddie was on the V4 Honda and the rest of the satellite Honda teams were on the V3’s, just ask Mamola, Gardner, Haslam and all the satellite riders, they would have given an arm and a leg to be on the same equipment as Freddie was on...

Drill...I got it right and you know how it is “the truth always hurts” But some of the replies have really been just outrageous and as I have said downright `arrogant & ignorant’ and to start naming would take a whole chapter, I know that some of my replies have been out of line and I would like to apologise for that....

Cheers brother!!!
