some simple words of advice...... if for some reason u find a member on this forum that is posting stuff that u don't particularly like then simply choose to ignore. it's real easy u know. some of the above comments are really unnessary & just lead to flame battles. remember IGNORE. thats all...

AHHHH, so thats why this thread only shows me 2 pages....cause the rest must be the same old crap over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over etc etc etc etc etc etc..........

then on left column click options.
then click ignore users

hope this helps you.

if i hadn't found this out, i think i would have been gone from here real soon. i'm surprised the forum hasn't been shut down again for "cooling off" due to some recent users.

thanks for the heads-up !!!

I only show disrespect when someone disrespects me. If you read his response to my post, you'd see how I feel about his derogatory comments. Also, he needs to get his facts right before shooting his mouth like he's in the gawddamn paddock every weekend. I don't know what his credentials are nor do I care but maybe he should consider the idea that some of us have been following the riders in question's careers just as long as he has.

Drill....I’m not lost for words at all...I haven’t been on the forum...and please!!!...I’m not stirring the pot at all mate! I’m only outlining certain posts and I’m definitely not saying that all posts are!!!...I enjoy reading most 99% but the other 1% are the ones that really leave me “gobsmacked” as you would say!!! That is all nothing more and nothing less...
And Drill by you saying this “Thats coming from a Stoner fan who admired his spirit from the LCR days, hell, there isn`t much between them in reality”...

I totally agree with you mate!...but I’m really getting sick of this...“yes but Dani was the superior rider in the 125’s, 250 days”....

How could it have been when Dani was on works Honda rides and Casey was on a KTM which was a new team to the 125’s and in the 250’s Casey was on the LCR that wasn’t a factory team. This year both riders are on the “Ridgy-Didge” (aussie slang for: original, genuine)...so no excuses...that the Honda is this, the Michelins are this....it’s all even, and if you read Casey’s interview on speed...and I quote casey’s words...

” don’t know what the real HRC stuff is like. They were always telling me last year that I was on the same stuff as Dani and Nicky but now I see that was a whole load of crap. There is no way that they give the same stuff to the satellite teams that the factory team has and it is the same thing with the other companies providing products. They tell you, ‘you are on the same this and that,’ but it is just not true and now I can see that from the outside because, like I said, my bike changed from session to session and it wasn’t anything to do with anything the team was doing. The team was doing a great job, but it was the companies playing around”...

Drill this is what I have been saying and have known for years mate...classic examples of the past are: Agostini, Spencer when Freddie was on the V4 Honda and the rest of the satellite Honda teams were on the V3’s, just ask Mamola, Gardner, Haslam and all the satellite riders, they would have given an arm and a leg to be on the same equipment as Freddie was on...

Drill...I got it right and you know how it is “the truth always hurts” But some of the replies have really been just outrageous and as I have said downright `arrogant & ignorant’ and to start naming would take a whole chapter, I know that some of my replies have been out of line and I would like to apologise for that....

Cheers brother!!!

I tip my hat to you,you are LOUD .....BUT.....also very knowledgeable.

if you look at the bottom left of the offending post you will see a report button, if your that offended by any comments made against you just report the post rather than get into a ... for tat row, think is this forum is full of nutcases gobby kids and hairy bikers so it's best to be pretty thick skinned and just treat it as a bit of fun if you want to survive on here

trust me, the ignore feature is awesome. just add the users you want to ignore and you're golden. it makes the forum way more enjoyable and you don't feel like you have to wade through posts from 14 year olds to find stuff worth reading/discussing.

....... this was a long thread. ....!

Look, the answer to the question is CONTROL TIRE and eliminate this freaking problem.

As to the rest of this thread with all the whining about being civil and self-appointed mods, please, give it a break. It reminds me of a kindergarten playground with the teacher going around and over policing recess. For god sakes, let people debate and work through differing opinions without the heads up to keeping it a Mr. Roger's neighborhood (you know, the TV show). Yes there is an insult line that shouldn't be crossed, bla bla bla, but it’s nowhere near here. ...., if anything is gonna kill the forum its this over policing!
Deal with the fact that people sometimes disagree. That’s the world we live in. You don’t need a damn ignore button, the ignore button should be in your head called common sense. Read through it, if you disagree, debate your point, if you can’t, you suck, period. There are no ignore buttons in real life so why can’t people just deal with this ....? Ignore buttons are for lame-brains and .......!!!!!

Nicely put Jumkie, the ignore button is for the ignorant, or for those showing ignorance , hence they all stem from the very same word.
I say do away with the ignore button, I've never used it despite several personal attacks, truth is I want to hear what people have to say whether I agree or not, then I can use my own intelligence to decide how to respond to such remarks.........the same as in real life.
