I totally agree that you can only race who shows up, But, the powers that be took his advantage and used it to ensure their own success. I'm not sure there is one component available to man that is more critical to performance than having a tire advantage and that is what Rossi was given with the SNS. You can have indentical bikes on different tires and one will be superior to the other. Throw in a rider who is a notch above the others and you get the first half of Rossi"s career .Sometimes I say things just to watch boppers implode, but I will say this with all seriousness, had Rossi not been given the advantages he was, we would not be discussing him except in passing. Looking back, I find it amazing he didn't win more.

Not to mention the extraordinary confidence it gave him, which if we believe mentality is huge, just imagine the state of calm going into a contest knowing from the onset it's rigged in your favor.

Yes!

I said HRC pissed off Stoner, and his recent comments about Marquez being afraid was him launching the first salvos because he wants to shove the Ducati so far up HRC/Marquez's ... they will be vomiting Marlboro red for the next year.

I believe he wants to race without all the ........, and wild carding does it.

Being Brand Ambassador for Ducati is one of those nebulous titles that allows him to fulfill PR .... in July, and he can spend the rest of the time preparing and only having the media to deal with on one or two race weekends.

Now that I have calmed down.

I look forward to the upcoming season and whatever it may bring.

Hopefully Stoner wild cards. We shall see.

I call it "tempering my beliefs forcefully" because if I don't, I'm going to have a massive erection for months that not even shovelhead's establishment will be able to cure.
