Yes, let's. I'm not too terribly optimistic everyone in the top ten finished ahead of Nicky in at least one practice session on race rubber. I'll be content with a top five and a finish ahead of Vermeulen, Capirossi and Edwards would be a huge boost to his championship standing, especially now that Melandri is out.

I can't wait to cuss and discuss the race with all of you tomorrow.

Been a long time waiting for my GP fix! Roll on 1pm!

Hopkins as fast as Stoner on race tyres and Yamaha also fast; we might have a race today.

i bloomin' hope so!!

PS: Hi gang, long time no see!

Congratulations to Hopkins and Hayden.

Bring on the new Yamaha engine and unlimited tyres; even as a Stoner fan I hate to see a great world champion unable to effectively compete due to inferior equipment.

Yawn, has it finished yet?
<

Well done to the podium finishers, they all rode excellent races.

Best viewing was for 5th place IMO....hehe...Rossi got beaten by a WSB rider, now tell me they're ..... in GP.

= I AM JOKING PEOPLE!
<

Rather dull and uninspiring.. Stoner's just in freakish form, thats the long and short of it.. The rest of the field just fight for the scraps..

CV taking Rossi was pure gold! It's really showing how dominant bridgestone has become! Rossi was in the most non existant race of his career. Yamaha and michelin need to really pull their collective fingers out!

Yes the chequered flag has dropped...phleg... btw the world champ Casey is +60 and he might just beat the record of the most wins in a season that I might add another aussie by the name of Mick Doohan holds at 12 wins.....

Stoner is totally annihilating the opposition. He and Lorenzo in the 250's are almost certainties for the 2007 world titles. Fantastic ride by Hopkins and Hayden respectively. Pedrosa, OK fourth (interesting between you and Nicky now). Great ride CV in fifth!

Or maybe not.

That race wasn't great, Stoner is on another level this season and nobody is riding nearly as well as him. It was nice to see Hopper finally do what is expected of him, he looked comfortable at the front today. CV also looks to have stepped up in his dry whether pace, hopefully this continues and sets him up well for next year. Rossi was a disappointment again, i would say his title chase is as good as over. Guintoli continued to impress me and DePuniet put himself in a different class to West, the battle continues. Hayden is definitely back on form and where he belongs so overall i'm happpy, but exciting races have been rare this season.

you talk crap caseys bike hasnt made a hicup been perfect since day one and thats the only reason he wins so many races, hes a good rider but will never be a great like doohan or rossi so stop dreaming, it wont always be this way as soon as yam and honda and others get there tricks sorted the game will change so enjoy your world champion this year cos i cant see this happening again when they the setup is rite and ...... tyres sorted, michelin shoulda just wedged a pile of candy floss around around the rim cos thats about as good as there rubber gets at the moment.

and stop using so many caps cos its pissing me off.

I wouldn't be so confident, predicting Stoners demise is just as foolish (perhaps more) as predictim him to be the next major force. Next year will be facinating thats for sure.

It's strange, it is only Rossi's Yamaha that has tyre problems, none of Hondas with Michelin has this kind of problems.

It is time to consider a problem with the bike or the rider, who is consuming the tyre a lot to keep on fighting for positions. The bike could be shaking a lot and wearing off the tyres more than normal or the bike setup isn't so good and Rossi could be pushing hard over the tyres to make up the poor setup.

In Formula 1 the tyres are the same for everyone and this kind of thing happens a lot, one car wear off more tyre than the other. It will depends on how the car is adjusted.

Anyway, I'm shrugging for Yamaha and Rossi, I want to see Ducati smashing the giant bikezillas.
<

lol, the "tiny" factory giving the giants a run for their money.

Four motorcylce Godzillas struggling to keep with the "little" factory. This is very, very funny.
<

Stoner now can lose 10 points per race, a very confortable situation.

Rossi, throw the towel? Well done, if he had joined Ducati in 2004, when they invited him, probably would be the champ in 2006 and now in 2007 and maybe next year, better than only in 2005 with Yamaha
<
. But not, he underestimate Ducati telling the world that they have not a competitive equipment. well done, well done, then try to match Casey and Melandri next year, let's see what the former world champ will do.

Only 6 races remaing, bring this title Ducati!!

Ummm....Rider, bike, tyres and team have been just about perfect leading to a just-about-perfect season so far! When yamaha, honda and michelin get their acts together it will make for great racing. Only question is when, cause they've been mostly CRAP this year. Don't knock Casey's efforts because it's been a supremely awesome series for him so far and it doesn't look like he's gonna be beaten any time soon!

yes i totally agree i will look over this season as 800's are new (first generation) and its shaken things up bigtime, its good to see the honda's are making good progress, maybe someone at bridgestone are paying someone at michelin to throw custard or beans in the tyre mix lol. there was no point rossi using the new motor because his tyres were kak again, it would be nice to see yams performance with the pneumatic valve motor and on stones oh well thats this season over for me i wont be watching now till next season.

hopefully when i return to the forum cscvaw would have taken up a new hobby like knitting so i dont have to read his stupid posts anymore.

take care all

The equipment is 50% of the thing IMO and it did perfectly until here. The bike is the best, the tyres is the best and the team is perfectly. But the rider need to do his job too, and Stoner is doing perfectly, so, you dont have the rights to take away Stoner's merit.

But the guy you quoted is just the most annoying fan over here, he managed to match the most boring Rossi's fans and even Toni Elias.
