Willski call messaging service - always at hand to deliver those urgent messages when they must absolutely get there..... Phil message to be delivered at Silverstone from Arrab " tell Phil I got his text but can't reply " Another message successfully delivered

Silverstone was over a week ago.

Wouldn't it have been more efficient to have just told me then?

BTW Arrabb got back and sent me a message before this post went up!

Successfully delivered!!!????

Well it is only a week the mail service can take years, so I suppose You would call it a success ;)

Nice, I'm jealous.  First time I'll miss it since it was put on the calendar as a substitute.

There are places to get food and drink at all the viewing areas.  I ate and drank from there since I rode in on a motorcycle.  You will see many coolers full of beer and wine,  all sorts of food.

And if you can, stay a couple days in Zaragoza.  It is a beautiful 2000+ year old city.  Cathedral, basilica, nice walking areas in the old part of town.  And a beautiful spot for tapas called, "El tubo."   Literally means the tube.  It's a bunch of veeery narrow streets, no way to put a car through, that are lined with small bars with spectacular tapas.  Usually each place has their own signature tapa.  And if you have time to kill, the Fiestas start at the beginning of october.  Bull fights, traditional dance, flower offering to the patron saint, La Virgen del Pilar.  Food and drink everywhere.

Man, I'll be missing it!!  Enjoy, good luck.  Buena suerte.

All booked ;-)

Thanks for all the information Batturo

If you are in the Paddock,

Stop by the Shark Helmet service truck and say Hi

We are there from Wednesday on

Claude

Thanks Claude and thanks for your mail.  We've just got standard tickets (1C), so I'm not sure whether that gives Paddock access.  Will defo stop by should it be possible.

I've booked the Parafox hotel in Zaragoza, so it's going to be a bit of a faff getting to and from Motorland on the bus, but great in the evening for tapas and Rioja (we'll be sure to try out El tubo).  We have a free day on Monday for sightseeing, but wish we had longer.

Am thinking about taking my lid with me and hitching to the circuit ;-)

Can't wait.

Thanks Baturro

Que tal la carrera?  Y Zaragoza?

How was the race?  And Zaragoza?

Hope you had a great time!  It was the first time I watched the race on a screen.  The MM/DP incident happened right in front of where we have sat in the past.

...... dont be like those countless leeches who join, get the info they need, then .... off without reporting back.

I wish I checked the forum before I went to Aragon. It was my first real international GP. My GF and I were in Barcelona and I convinced her to do it.

Stayed at the Melia in Zaragoza, (all of Repsol stayed there it seemed.) Drove everyday in our rented 1.0L Polo.

Getting out of the parking lot after the race was a mission. We were in stands 1C, 2nd row from the top last or second last bleachers. Great seats.

Can't wait for the race!!!! Bought tickets, but only comes as a eticket and I still don't have an actually PDF of one. :( just have a receipt. Hopefully I didn't get taken.

Anyways, enough with the negative thinking. I will be in Barcelona on Sept 22 and then make my way to Zaragoza on 26 for Qualifier. Leave Spain for Italy on Monday!

Excited and nervous at the same time.

Any Eticket i have ever gotten was at the moment the transaction was processed. After payment was accepted, i was prompted to print ticket. You might want to check on the status, that doesnt sound right

Will see if I got taken on Thursday. I got an email from the site that said they release the tickets 2 weeks before event. It is a bit odd as I generally get e-tickets right away also. However I have contacted the site and they did reply with that response. It seems like a reputable site (Gootickets.com)

I ended up getting tickets to the Barcelona FC game also. Going to experience "football" in its pure form.
