Vinales will be a contender too.. /s
Every motogp fan has said this once in their life. They all soon regret it.
Vinales will be a contender too.. /s
BUT, I wonder if now having Marc in the factory stable will give sway to his brother getting a GP25 too.
? Aldeguer.I can see this ruffling a few feathers if it happens.
He appeared to have tried that, saying he's not going to Pramac so that they give Gresini the new bikes. It seemed to have failed but he may be able to indirectly achieve that if Pramac goes to Yamaha and Ducati give the "factory bike" contract to Gresini instead. At present the smart money is on VR46. BUT, I wonder if now having Marc in the factory stable will give sway to his brother getting a GP25 too.

Yeah, the biggest losers in this are Bagnaia, Martin, Alex Marquez, KTM, Pramac and Aprilia. One might say that Quartararo is also a loser because if he had waited a bit longer, he might have been able to get a Ducati seat. MM is the biggest winner and also official Ducati (to be seen, if MM and Bag to pull each other's eyes out). Mir is a potential winner as well IF he manages to get a Ducati seat and makes it alive after this season with Honda.Motorsport.com saying that Ducati’s particular worry was that MM might join Aprilia, so what we have been saying on here that they would be worried about MM winning elsewhere more than Martin serms to have proven out.
Also said Bagnaia and his mentor would not be best pleased, but that seemed like an obvious deduction rather than anything informed.
? Aldeguer.
Aprilia and KTM got upgraded riders over this. I am not sure how that can be called an L. Alex, who knows but if he keeps his seat than I wouldn't call that a L either. Fabio signed last year for multiple years so this has zero effect on him. Pramac and Bagboy are the big losers here sure but if Pramac can sign Mir than they have a world champion on the bike so again thats a win. I agree Mir will most likely be a winner over all this.Yeah, the biggest losers in this are Bagnaia, Martin, Alex Marquez, KTM, Pramac and Aprilia. is there an echo in here?Alex will do alright and he'll probably pen a Gresini renewal soon. KTM is a loser in the sense that Pecco-Marc will be extremely tough to beat, but their rider lineup next year will be solid (although we don't know who the 4th rider will be). Quartararo chose the big bucks, nothing that has happened would've changed his decision, if Aprilia's 4M per year contract wasn't enough for him, a satellite ride would pay even less than that. Aprilia is not a loser imo, signing Marc was a long shot and Martin is the next best thing available.
True, maybe it was a bit harsh to call Aprilia and KTM losers, but if we see it all relatively, then, yeah, they were not really the ones who are going to benefit from having MM. Aprilia improved his lineup and you can argue KTM did as well with Bastianini. Alex, well, he could have benefited from a factory Ducati if the maneuvers had worked out; he still may though. Quartararo, well, if all he's after is $, then yeah, big win there. But from all his talk, I sense he might want to win more than money, so in that sense, yeah, a bit of a loser. Let's see what ends up happening at Pramac and who ends up going there.Aprilia and KTM got upgraded riders over this. I am not sure how that can be called an L. Two weaks ago, Quartararo said he had propositions from all the manufacturers. Even Ducati would have approch him, not for the factory seat but probably a Pramac one. Aleix's retirement was known from the begining of this season and Fabio's name was much heard close to Aprilia, I think he would have been incredible on that bike. Maybe I'm a bit naive but I fully understand his desire to come back at the top and become world champion again with the M1 (or the future M8.5 ). Of course money talks, but I think he didn't have to negociate much to get this contract extansion (with this salary), what about Yamaha if they had lost a rider of his stature ? It could have been a much more difficult situation for them, because they must have a top rider in their ranks to know at what stage of development they are. Example : We could have said the KTM development is still very far without Acosta's performances.True, maybe it was a bit harsh to call Aprilia and KTM losers, but if we see it all relatively, then, yeah, they were not really the ones who are going to benefit from having MM. So the next major hurdle is Pramac signing a manufacturer contract and then there will be a rush for the 2 remaining GP25’s wherever they might be
There’s also the second Aprilia factory seat
Ahh, the troll is back. It's been a while. It appears that the loss of income Valentino Rossi is subject to due to his retirement is partially offset by his eternal ability to live rent free in the average MotoGP Forumer’s head.
