I find the lack of interest in Pramac interesting;
  • Martin leaving
  • Marc Marquez refusing to join Pramac
  • Bastainini not going to Pramac
  • Haven't seen any report of anyone been interested in joining Pramac

Perhaps there's some substance in the rumor of Pramac switching to Yamaha despite deigning that they are heading that way.
Yes, why aren’t riders lining up to get on a GP25 ?. I imagine they are at least waiting for official confirmation Pramac have at least taken up their option to stay with Ducati for 2 more years.

One previous rumour was that they would stay with Ducati if they signed MM, go to Yamaha if they didn’t. Is Morbidelli signed to them or Ducati ?.

Its confirmed, Marc in Red for the next 2 years
Marc Joins Red
I've seen two cars with "Pecco #63" stickers in the rear window during the last week. This is a deeply concerning. Time for ol' Frantise to be humiliated next year.

Also I think the odds are pretty good this will be Marc's final contract as a rider.

Ducati I believe, but he is almost certain to replace Diggia at VR46 if he loses his ride given his close ties.

And therein lies the difference between Marquez and Vale. Both (if I may be a bit reductionist/cliche in my thinking) see themselves as having a bit of the Machiavelli gene. But Vale’s belief was fed by the sycophantic adoration of his fan base and Dorna’s bottom-feeding, ass-kissing commodification mentality, whereas Marquez’ is underpinned by an earned sense of self-belief, that supports a well-honed capacity for calculated risk both in racing and in contract negotiation. Its like Vale is playing checkers and Marquez is playing three dimensional chess.

I was very much like Michael, waiting until it was confirmed but now it is, great post! 😎 👌

Everyone expects Marques to Ducati now ? I'll believe it when i see it.Petty politics seem to be more important than winning these days. Why else would morbidelli be at Pramac and Perez at red bull.

Marquez at Ducati seems too exciting. It won't happen

Your opinion aged worse than guacamole left out on the counter.

Not if he continues to fight for the title the next two years. He will retire when he is no longer competitive.

I have also heard that Pramac have hinted that Marquez is needed for them to remain with Ducati.

Martin would have left anyway. He has already said that much at the beginning of the season. He wants a factory seat.

Marc would have rather worked alongside his brother than not, if the factory seat would have gone to Martin.

Bastianini is the odd one on this list. My thoughts are that the money is much better at KTM (GasGas) than a self funded Pramac. That is a big pull factor for a rider with very few years left at the top (6-8 years?)

The riders interested in Prams will line up within this week, now that the dominoes have started to fall. I'll give you Diggia, Morbidelli, Oliveira, Fernandez one and two, Mir...

I think Pramac is still also a big TBD because of the Yamaha thing. If it weren't for that I bet they'd have riders signed already.

If Pramac goes back to Yamaha, I cannot see Morbidelli staying. He would like take Diggias seat at VR46. Maybe Diggia would then be at Pramac Yamaha with...Mir?

I would be surprised if either Fernandez keeps their seats. One of the Trackhouse rides looks certain to go to Joe Roberts.

I don't think it's his final contract at all. I think he wants to ride the 850cc formula.

So after near done deal of Marc to Ducati in news and now official confirmation, I feel nothing. No happines, tears in eyes, relief, nothing. Deep down I'm waiting for that elusive victory to come, after everything... it would be relief.

Agree. Pramac Ducati is the second best place to ride, if you want to be competitive, imo. They are losing Martin, but Ducati have yet to announce another rider for them. Pramac is not linked to any deal for a rider. Bastianini would rather take a satellite KTM ride?

Maybe they are switching to Yamaha. Poor Frankie.

If Pramac will join Yamaha, who gets the Ducati factory bikes? Gresini or VR46? Who will be the rider without a seat who lands at Pramac Yamaha?

I don't think it's his final contract at all. I think he wants to ride the 850cc formula.

If he can stay healthy and sharp, the 850s should move back in his direction. In 2027 he will fight Bagnaia, Martin and Acosta and one or two riders from Moto2. It will be a tough battle, but the odds are in his favor when ride height disappears.

At present the smart money is on VR46. BUT, I wonder if now having Marc in the factory stable will give sway to his brother getting a GP25 too.

Vinales will be a contender too.. /s
