Giving JM motivation wasn't a smart move by Ducati.

I still can't believe they didn't just give MM a GP25 at Gresini. Would have been the smartest move to do. Losing The Beast isn't a big deal. Losing the #1 plate is going to be a huge problem if it happens. If Martin can maintain a 1 race cushion over Pecco the remainder of the way, that will keep all of the pressure on Pecco. Best way to do it.

As a guy who has tattoos . . . totally agree. Having lived formerly on the Lower East Side (East Village AKA Alphabet City) for more than 40 years, I know more people WITH than without ink, and pretty everyone I've known who wears THAT many tattoos or has one one of those stupid nostril-to-nostril nose rings, have been seriously socially challenged in some way or another. It's basically a flag that says, "Keep away - damaged goods".

Yeah I agree, Ducati isn’t known for their talent management, but this whole episode has been a series of unfortunate events.

I even read a report that the fateful weekend where all of this transpired, Martin had dinner with the crew on Saturday, announcing that he’s leaving to join the Lenovo team and shook hands with every single crew member; only for the offer to be withdrawn on Sunday. He signed for Aprilia 2 hours later.

Martin taking the #1 plate to Aprilia is a PR disaster for Borgo Panigale IMO.
 
You know how a lot of Americans love to brag on about how they're 1/50th Cherokee or Lakota? I have none of that, making me the opposite of Indian. So I'm going to zip out to the back yard to do a no-rain dance.

I currently have zero hope for anything pre-2027. Bradl keeps testing stuff week-in and week-out and what he tests keeps getting worse. They have no idea what they're doing and often let him test two different bikes during a weekend.

I think Martin is going to give Pecco a major headache today if he gets a good start.

But it's also Sunday and Pecco is generally very strong on these days, especially at his home circuit. So I think it's his race to lose.

Maybe Enea can pull of his magic again today.

I wonder what Marc can do from P9. I'm still shaking my head at his overtake on Pedro yesterday in the sprint.

If it stays dry, Frantisek ahead of Enea. Enea was coming at the end yesterday, don't see Jörg having quite the speed over the long distance.
Marc P4 or 5 if he stays upright.

Couldn't agree more, most of my friends have tattoos, but they put a lot of thought into what they were doing, and it's stuff that can be covered up if need be. If any of them went up to their neck I would tell them it's not a good idea. The nostril-to-nostril nose rings I just roll my eyes. I knew a gal awhile back that I was interested in, then one day I saw her with all these facial piercings. I lost complete interest LOL.

On an unrelated note,

No idea what’s happening in Magny Cours this week with WSBK.

Toprak went down yesterday in a scary crash where he hit the barrier. Declared unfit.

Now Rea and Bautista also declared unfit after separate crashes.
 
Rocketship start from Bagnaia. Martin hot on his tail.

Ducati on Ducati crime between Bastianini and M. Marquez.
Bez falters yet again.
