Coming up soon-ish. Temps are (thus far) predicted in the low seventies. Given that we're in a two-week spurt of weather every day between 85 and 105, a trip to Silverstone sounds enticing. If only it weren't (iMHO) such a boring track. At least there's the unpredictability factor. Last 7 races there were won by 7 different riders.

Ride it...you'd change your mind. Lots of high speed corners that are great fun.

This new forum layout sucks on mobile. Wonder if same on web browser?

Looking forward to the race, been a while now. Silverstone can be very processional, hopefully the lay off has riders a bit hungry for action.

The break feels like it's been so much longer than usual! It sometimes feels longer than the winter off-season. And now it's back on my birthday!

New forum layout is odd but people don't like change. It is a cleaner look, I think.

Does anyone know the details for Car Park 2? I am part of a group who are parking at both M1 and M40 carparks on Sunday. The website says the exact location will be shared closer to the time. It is now the Thursday before and I still haven't received confirmation as to where the carparks are?

Yes, that is quite an interesting discussion. Putting in the work to add craft to the talent is what makes the difference in most of the endeavors in life. Casey’s take that the work trumps the talent Is interesting. Should give punters the world over cause to rejoice with a clear path ahead to success or failure!

Not many storylines coming out of the grand prix at Silverstone. Fabio practiced taking a long lap penalty. Miller went down and questioned the safety at Stowe corner. Jack crashed just as he was tipping in, but when the camera cut to the wide shot, it looked like he tumbled all the way to the wall. He wasn't keen.

The biggest story by far is the "stegosaurus" wings on the tail section of the Gresini Ducatis. Criticism has come from all angles, and it seems Gigi et al are trying to draw the ire of MotoGP's technical regulators. Aprilia's rear wing was just a cheeky middle finger. The stegosaurus is an act of war. No predictions where this will go, but the tail section of MotoGP bikes will probably be the focus of new regulations or homologation restrictions.

When looking at this post in normal view, it is blurred. Why?

Couldn’t see the three dots, but found if I just click on the blurred text (or in my case, on an IPad, touch the text) it un-blurs.

BTW - maybe the best MotoGp Q2 quali I’ve seen in years. Aleix was tremendous. Big respect.

Loved the moto3.
Hanging for the motoGP.
I would be happy to see Zarco finally get a win here but yeah, don't know that he'll have the speed at the end.
I am enjoying what this circuit is throwing up thus far.
That moto3 was a great race! 😎

Fabio practising the long lap again on the sighting lap 🤣😁
Good to see. Ridiculous that he has one imo
