I'd love to have seen Quartararo win his first race, he definitely put in the effort and missed out only by 5/8ths of .... all, he pretty much embarrassed the other Yamaha's in the process.
But the race was very dull up until the last lap battle and Marc's superhuman performance really rubbed salt into Rossi's still unhealed wounds, salt extracted from the gallons of tears cried by the yellow Misano fans, making the win all the sweeter.
Pretty awesome rides by both of them!!
Hated to think it, but I reckon we all knew that last lap pass was inevitable. Quatarraro's got nothing to be ashamed about. Fastest Yamaha ahead of much more experienced riders on full factory bikes. Starting to think he ain't a flash in the pan. Knew the Ducatis wouldn't fare well but gutted they did so badly.
