Not an exciting race at all. Having said that I can really remember many if any races in the drying conditions that were. Even outside of Marquez’s domination it seemed like the positions had mostly been decided by lap 2 or 3.

The whole Q2 thing between Marquez and Rins has been overblown. Rins acted like a .... IMO. Both seemed to have moved on anyway.

There’s not really much else to talk about as far as the race is concerned. Vinales dropped the ball at the start again but had the pace to be the top Yamaha and fight for a podium. Nothing new. Quatararo continues to impress and Dovi won’t be champion.

And rossi still top yamaha with marc as 2019 champ.

Yes, it could be much more fun to see him gradually decline and drop out of top ten permanently. Not that I care much, actually there are some young guns who deserve better bike and he certainly has a good bike.

Who Rossi?

Rumors: Gigi Dall'igna may exchange Ducati for KTM.

We can already say that the Ducati season did not start as planned in MotoGP, the inconsistency in the results of the GP19 desmosedici ended up creating a tense atmosphere inside the rossa garage.

In the team there is a mood of frustration, the last race in Sachsenring has highlighted some weaknesses: Steering, the bike suffers in winding stretches where normally Yamaha and Suzuki are highly strong, where Honda can also play its very well done role. .

Given this situation Danilo Petrucci said: It is very worrying that both in Assen and here we lose half a second per lap for the winner. The Italian was more emphatic: "We probably hit the bike limit."

Dovizioso on Petrucci's side said the team had been facing this same cornering problem for over four years. He said a new approach is needed to address this problem.

All this trouble falls on the lap of none other than Gigi Dall'igna, the father of desmosedici today. In Italy, journalist Maurizio Bruscolini reported that Gigi is losing patience, even thinking about seeking new horizons for a new project, the destination would be the well-heeled KTM.

It is too early to say what will happen at Ducati, but it is not from today that Gigi has been ignored for the team's top summit, here are some of the points that displeased the man in the Rossa garage:

- In 2016 Gigi went against Iannone's departure
- In 2018 Gigi was against Jorge Lorenzo's departure
- Following Jorge Lorenzo's departure, Gigi stated that Dovizioso had no ability to be world champion.
- Today Gigi and Dovi are not so friends in the Ducati pits, just the basics.

Taking into account these internal facts and which currently the two official pilots chorus against the current Ducati project it is possible to see some disunity in the Italian team's pits. May the next scenes of this novel come.

Rumors or not I can't help but to think that tension and that Eerie feeling is caused by thinking they ...... it up choosing Pilots.

They probably also think they could have been in a better place had they Just kept Lorenzo and Danilo.

Dovi is now too important in the team considering how irrelevant his results are ( i know he is doing well but it won't cut it, just look at the tension) and they are stuck with Him as number 1, a number 2 that could be potentially faster and no Lorenzo at all.

I am also unaware as to why Stoner isn't with them any more but now that Both he and Lorenzo are not there, that turning issue that has been present for so long (4 years) is actually an issue now.

The turning issue has been a thing since 2007 to my knowledge.

Looks increasingly as though Lorenzo +/- Stoner had something to do with sorting the bike during Lorenzo’s tenure, although Dovi rode it best/most consistently. Going with Jorge and seeing if he could manage full on butterhammer mode consistently with full backing/number1 status might have been the one thing which could have challenged MM, unfair to Dovi though it would have looked (and probably would have been) at the time.

Not precisely that . . . but I was in fact thinking the yesterday that we'll probably see the Bopper phenomenon transferred to Marquez once Rossi
drops out. Actually, we already have a few Moppers on the forum now. Presently, Marquez wins with such clocklike regularity to the point where it seems pretty tedious. While everybody admires the hell of Marquez - I don't get the sense that they are as invested in him as Stoner fans (or I may just be projecting) were. Stoner while great, was viewed as flawed and was I think more relatable. Marquez seems to be a bit too perfect. Point being, it'll be perhaps more interesting, and more fun to root for and to watch race when he's older and competing against his replacement alien.

You’re right it is happening a little. It’s disappointing tbh

I’m sick of hearing it’s boring from the morons though. The last two races have been boring as .... but the season so far has had a few good races.

Morons complain about the current state of MotoGP and didn't have a problem watching Rossi obliterate weak opposition 15 years ago. It's just a cry because their least liked rider is winning all the time.

I agree that this season might have been the weakest of the last years, but it seems some fans just don't remember how dull the races could be before, with 2 riders winning by a landslide each race and F1-like gaps.

I am just sad i can't get a kick out of teasing these morons.

They will retort with the lamest excuses they kept repeating 10 years ago...and that is just proper sad.

I don't even want to unless I am provoked lol

Actually I agree with both Dovi and Gigi. Ducati needs to sort this issue out as fast as possible, Dovi is right. And Ducati also needs to get rid of Dovi as fast as possible, Gigi is right.

I don't expect both of them together beyond 2020, and I honestly think is dead end for Dovi. On the other side, I didn't understand if Gigi is the one reluctant to change the bike behavior once and for all, but I do know that Dovi will leave after 2020 and if Dalligna doesn't hit the target at 2021 already making Ducati Corse world champions, I'm sure he won't need to leave, because he will be fired.

Depends on how much the turning problem relates to the engine configuration/size how much blame attaches to Gigi for not resolving it, but agree about Gigi and Ducati, they will fire him even if he is the best possible engineer for them, just as they have divested themselves of riders in the past.

Yep, Domenicali is expert on firing their best work forces. He's the greatest ........ ever of Ducati Corse. BTW, I'm wondering when tobacco man will counter-strike and smoke him.
